“The world’s best imaging and design app”, this course teaches the basic layout and tools, and how to begin to effectively edit your vision. This multi-session course will cover many of the basics of the program, including where to find many of the key tools, what they do, and how and why to use them. It will also go more extensively into layers, masking, and compositing with images.
Due to the intensive nature of Photoshop, we generally recommend to bring a laptop in order to follow along to see the myriad number of options available in the program. We will have sample images that we will hand-out in order to follow along. In addition to this, we will have recommended assignments between sessions to give you practice in the program.
In this course, we will be working with and explaining the following:

This class will be taught using Adobe’s Creative Cloud. Versions CS5, CS6 and CC are recommended for use with this class. Please be advised that Adobe Photoshop Elements has a very different layout and will not translate as well for this class. You have been advised to consider not taking this course if this is the version you are using. If you are interested in learning Adobe Photoshop Elements, we recommend a 1-on-1 Class.
It is generally recommended to have a laptop for this course. If you are bringing a laptop, make sure to have Adobe Photoshop installed prior to arriving.
