Sat May 18th, 9am-6pm • Hunt’s Photo, Melrose. Everyone has natural light available, but not necessarily the understanding of how to find and manipulate it with reflectors and diffusers to create the most pleasing or effective image. In this workshop we will work with window light, backlight, open shade and garage door lighting and explore how the qualities of each contribute to the feeling of the portrait.
Tuesdays May 7th/14th, 6-8:30pm • Hunt’s Photo, Melrose. This workshop specifically illustrates and teaches students to understand flash. Specifically, this class is geared at both students that are just starting out with flash, as well as those that have been using flash, but want to learn how to use it more effectively on the camera.
Saturday April 27th, 9am-5pm • Hunt’s Photo, Melrose. Join Hunt’s Photo Education for our Portrait Lighting Bootcamp, where we will workshop portraits using practical lighting options. Our goal is to get each attendee more comfortable with the basics of lighting, demonstrate how and why to set up lights in certain ways, and how to create stunning portraits with these lights.
