Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a photo walk in one of Boston’s most distinctive buildings and one of Boston’s most recognizable areas: The Massachusetts State House and Acorn St. During the walk we will discuss Subject Development, Image Composition, Long Exposures, Black and White Photography, HDR, and especially Architectural Photography.
Overlooking historic Boston Common is the distinctive Massachusetts State House. Built in 1798, the State House is known for its very visible golden dome, but the interior is equally as impressive and beautiful. Featuring beautiful polished granite, Greek revival columns, sweeping staircases, long corridors, legislative meeting rooms, and a stunning rotunda, the State House provides ample opportunity for creating stunning images. After photographing inside the State House, we will also make our way through Beacon Hill to photograph Acorn Street and Lafayette Square at dusk.
