Mount Holyoke College is widely considered one of the most beautiful campuses in New England. Founded in the early 1800s as a female seminary, the college became one of the “Seven Sisters” liberal arts colleges for women in the Northeast (Mount Holyoke, Vassar, Smith, Wellesley, Bryn Mawr, Barnard, and Radcliffe colleges). Our walk will begin in the Talcott Greenhouse, but will also include the Botanical Gardens, the Mt. Holyoke Library, and other parts of the grounds.
