Hunt’s Photo Walks are hands-on workshops that immerse the student in different aspects of photography, both technically and aesthetically. There is no better way to learn photography than through a hands-on experience, and these walks provide you with that opportunity. Our instructors will also give guided help to skill levels from beginner to advanced.

Fri July 27th, Sat July 28th, & Sun July 29th. Join Hunt’s Photo Education and Sigma on a trio of walks and workshops geared to get you excited about a variety of different photographic styles.
Saturday, July 28th, 9am-6pm. In this workshop, we will emphasize creating portraits using available light through subject placement and composition through the aid of diffusers and reflectors.
Friday, July 28th, 5-10pm, Cambridge, MA. Featuring night photography with some of the most unique architecture in Massachusetts, with Sigma lenses to borrow.
Saturday, June 30th, 10am-6pm, Hunt’s Photo, Manchester & Garwin Falls, Wilton, NH. This unique workshop will be half classroom description, half in-field workshop, as we discuss filters and then put them to excellent use!
Sunday, June 24th, 10am-3pm, Kennebunkport, ME. This workshop will emphasize photographing interiors, macro and also feature photographing environmental portraits using models.
Saturday, June 23rd, 10am-3pm, Boston, MA. On this walk, we will spend the evening establishing how to best photograph people and street scenes in different environments. This is a walk that will challenge your abilities, but will ultimately be a rewarding experience!
Saturday, June 16th, 3-9pm • Galilee, Narragansett, RI. The Port of Galilee is a fascinating, weathered and textured area for photography. We will begin the walk photographing in and around the port, then move toward the Point Judith Lighthouse for sunset.

Friday, June 8th, 6-10pm, Boston/Cambridge. Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a night photography adventure along Boston’s historic waterfront area. On this walk, we will emphasize low light and night photography.
Friday, June 8th, 4-8pm, Falmouth, Maine. Gilsland Farm features 2.5 miles of trails, winding through meadows, in and out of woods, and along the shore of the Presumpscot River estuary and features a variety of plant and animal life. We will photograph this and the setting sun in this varied environment.
Sat, June 2nd, 9am-1pm, Boothbay Harbor, ME. Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a photo walk at the Maine Botanical Gardens at Boothbay Harbor. The gardens are an ideal location for macro and closeup photography, as well as providing a beautiful environment for a walk!
Fri June 1st, 6-10pm, Boston/Cambridge, MA. On this walk, we will journey along the Esplanade on the Storrow Drive side of the Charles River, photographing some of these locations and the landscape along the river as well as the people.
Sunday, May 27th, 9am-1pm, Shelburne Falls, MA. We will divide our time on this walk between macro/close-up photography on and around the bridge and landscape/longer exposure photography around the falls. This will be an excellent opportunity to utilize both macro lenses and neutral density filters.
Friday, May 18th, 6-10pm, Portsmouth, NH. On this walk, we will discuss and demonstrate various techniques for shooting in low light scenarios in and around the eclectic town of Portsmouth using available light.
Saturday April 28th at Cape Ann, Sunday April 29th at Hunt’s Photo, Melrose. Capture-To-Print is a day and a half of photography, editing and printing! Half photo walk, half editing and printing, we will take you through the whole process–from Capture to Print.
