One of Canada’s most historic and picturesque destinations is located just north of New England in the province of Quebec. Old Québec City sits along the Saint Lawrence River where it retains much of its old world charm. Fortifications, narrow streets, colorful buildings, and dramatic attractions such as the famous Château Frontenac Hotel, Citadelle of Québec, and the Petit Champlain makes Old Quebec City a fantastic destination for all photographers.
Your passport is required for this workshop.
Our hotel, the Hotel Manoir Victoria, built in 1830 is a grand old Victorian hotel (4 Star rated) in the heart of Quebec!
We will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction and critiques.
In this workshop we will cover:
• Use of Lenses
• Use of Light Modifiers
• Subject Development
• Creative Thinking
• Shooting in Low Light
• Long Exposures
• Use of Filters (polarizers and ND)
• Image Processing
• Image Review
• Image Critiquing
The cost of this trip includes the cost of lodging and transportation while on location. You will need to separately purchase a flight ticket or have transportation to and from Quebec City. Meals are not included in the cost of the trip.
