Class Size: Maximum 12 attendees
Recommended prerequisite: Basic knowledge of your camera
All skill levels welcome!
Join photographer Rick Berk on a photo walk through Vaughan Woods in Hallowell, Maine. The locals call it “Hobbitland” due to its resemblance to the Shire from Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”. This set of trails is especially magical in the fall, when the leaves turn bright colors and the waterfalls run under beautiful carved stone bridges. This location is ideal for photographers to explore and capture. If foliage runs it’s course, we will work on photographing in the beautiful autumn scenery and landscapes in the woods. If you have Neutral Density (ND) filters, some of the streams will be a great chance to use them.
Vaughan Homestead and Estate is a picturesque location with trails, wildflowers and wildlife, along the Kennebec River in Hallowell, Maine, a quintessential New England town. Bring your camera and your imagination! All skill levels are invited to attend!
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
