Hunt’s Portrait Workshop: Natural Light (and Flash) Portraits in the Fall
October 24, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
One event on November 7, 2020 at 12:00 pm
Join Hunt’s Photo Education for another entry in our series of natural light portrait workshops where we vary it up by adding in flash! We will emphasize creating portraits using available light through subject placement and composition through the aid of diffusers and reflectors. We will then separately demonstrate reasons to add in flash.
We will begin photographing mid-day in the sunlight (and shade) and work to sunset. We will then utilize lower light techniques and photograph during twilight for some spectacular portrait results!
For this section, you are welcome to bring your own flashes and light modifiers (soft boxes, etc), but you also can use what we have with us as well. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
Please note: At this time, we do not have a specific meeting location. However, the workshop will be happening north of Boston. We will update this post to reflect our specific meeting location when it has been decided.
Emerging Series- A Guideline for Photo Walks during the era of COVID-19
As the COVID lockdown ends and social restrictions begin to ease, we have decided to start offering our popular Hunt’s Photo Walks again.
Hunt’s Photo Education remains dedicated to the health and safety of every single attendee, student, and customer, first and foremost. We also are committed to the best possible learning experience. We have put forth rules and guidelines for Photo Walks that occur during the era of COVID.
•We will have no more than 6-8 attendees per Photo Walk with a single instructor
•We ask that all attendees wear a mask. (Please make sure the mask covers your mouth and nose.)
•We ask that all attendees socially distance 6 feet from one another, unless you are attending with the other person
•Hunt’s Photo Educators will be unable to physically handle others’ cameras
•Consider bringing sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer
•If you are sick or feeling unwell, stay home! We will gladly give you credit towards a future walk!
These guidelines will stay in place until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
