Travel information
We will be meeting at the hotel at 3pm on the first day of the workshop. Transportation to and from Brooklyn, NY and the hotel (including any applicable flights) is not included. We will also utilize public transportation around the city, which is also not included.

We will be staying at the Hampton Inn, 125 Flatbush Ave Ext, Brooklyn- 718-875-8800. Please note: Your rooms are NOT included in the cost of your ticket, but we have rooms set aside. After booking with us, make sure to call to put your name on one of those rooms. We are listed as the “Hunt’s Photo Group”.

Refund Policy – Adventures

For all Adventures, a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the workshop is required to hold a spot. Please note: Deposits are non-refundable, but you can receive a 50% credit toward a future adventure. Within 45-days, the deposit is non-transferable.

For national adventures (excluding Alaska), final payments are due one month prior to the start of the workshop.
For international adventures (and Alaska), final payments are due 90-days prior to the start of the workshop. We strongly encourage travel insurance!

Description

Few places are as bright and exciting as the Big Apple. The city of New York is a metropolitan giant that offers a huge palette of culture, architecture, history, and interest for photographers of every level. For this springtime adventure we will explore the borough of Brooklyn and visit locations such as the Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO park, the 9/11 Memorial, and Coney Island. Each day we will work on Street Photography, Subject Development, Exposure, Image Composition, Architectural Photography, Black and White Photography, Low Light Photography, and Long Exposures. Not only will we help you improve your photography skills, but you will also get to take in some of the most iconic scenes in New York City.
We will maximize our time in the field, but also leave time to relax and have group discussions. Once on location we will travel to and from locations by walking, subway, and local transportation.

General Itinerary
May 31 – 4pm- Meet, Greet, Dinner, Sunset Shoot in DUMBO Park
June 1, 2, 3 – Daily excursions to 9/11 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge, Dumbo Park, Coney Island, and more dependent upon light and weather
June 4 – Sunrise shoot, check out

Skill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome
Physical Activity: Medium to High. There will be a LOT of walking in a busy city environment with long hours during the day. Please make sure you are up to the task before registering!
