DESCRIPTION:Workshop Description\nThe small western town of Jackson\, Wyoming is home to Grand Tetons National Park\, and now for the first time with Hunt’s Photo Adventures\, experience it in the changing color of the Fall!\nEncompassing over 300\,000 acres this awe inspiring national park features a multitude of landscapes\, wildlife\, western culture\, and\, of course\, the Grand Tetons themselves which dominate all of Jackson Hole dramatically. Each day\, we will work on concepts of Subject Development\, Exposure\, Image Composition\, Black and White Photography\, Low Light Photography\, and Long Exposures. The magnitude and beauty of the Grand Tetons will stay with you forever.\nWe will maximize our time in the field with hands on instruction as well as incorporating group discussion\, classroom instruction\, and image review during the workshop. How much less? Generally\, ticket prices to SLC are less than half the cost\, and factoring in that you would need to rent a car from SLC to JAC\, the cost is still significantly less. For the adventurous\, this indirect route can be a wonderful way to explore the country! SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Fall in Solon\, Maine
DESCRIPTION:Central Maine is a spectacular sight with beautiful scenery that will inspire every photographer.  Woodlands\, streams\, waterfalls\, the night sky\, and local culture all make for fantastic photo opportunities as we explore\, learn\, and create in and around the rural town of Solon\, Maine.  \nSolon\, and the Evergreens Campground\, will host this Adventure: a four-day workshop featuring hands-on instruction during daily field trips\, in-depth classroom discussion\, and professional guidance from Hunt’s Photo’s Director of Photo Adventures Don Toothaker in a rustic\, relaxed atmosphere.\nSolon is a small town at the edge of some of Maine?s premier wilderness areas.  Once home to a vibrant farming and logging industry\, Solon is now a quiet village that caters to outdoorsman and eco-tourism year round.  \nThe homey Evergreen Campground is situated along the banks of the historic Kennebec River amid towering pine trees\, stately maples\, and beautiful birch.  This peaceful setting is where attendees will stay in rustic cabins.  All meals will be served in the log-hewn lodge\, along the historic Kennebec River at the Evergreens Campground\, where we will also hold classes and presentations.  Daily field trips will provide everyone with a variety of subjects that showcase the beauty and diversity of the region.\nPhysical Activity:  Low/Medium.  The longest hike we will go on will be 1/2 mile\, round trip\, and there will be some slightly tricky terrain\, but this will be minimal.\nDuring this Workshop We will Cover:\n?	Exposure\n? With this in mind\, our excursion will have an absolute maximum of 8 attendees.\nAs the Evergreens campground states on their site\, “Our small cabins sleep up to 5 comfortably and our 2 large\, two-story cabins sleep up to 11 each.? Each cabin is fully furnished with single beds\, carpeting\, electricity\, bathrooms with hot and cold running water\, shower\, sink and toilet. The cabins are open concept.

DESCRIPTION:Workshop Description\nLocated in Eastern Utah is the small town of Moab. The landscape here embodies the look and feel of the American West. Given its location between Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park\, Moab is a prime destination for all levels of photographers. These areas\, as well as others\, will provide our group with dramatic landscapes featuring bold\, red rock formations and stunning light that shapes the land in a mystical way.\nWe will photograph in the following locations:\n?Moab\, Arches National Park\, Canyonlands National Park\n?Dead Horse Point\n?Island in the Sky\n?Needles\n?Delicate Arch\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic assignments each day.\nWhat?s included:\n? Five days of in-field photography and instruction\n? Ground transportation during the 5 days in the field\, including from the airport at SLC (see Travel information below)\n? We are listed as the ?Hunt’s Photo Group?.\nAbout Weather\nWeather can range from a low of 35? F at night to a high of 80? F during the day. There will be a definite chance of rain during our workshop.\nImportant things to keep in mind:\n?Bring clothing suited for a variety of temperatures\, from cold mornings to warm afternoons. Also be prepared for potential rain and for changing weather.\n?We will be photographing from 4000 to 6000? elevation. Normally\, the only problem you can expect is a slight shortness of breath. However\, the higher elevation is something to keep in mind if you live at sea level or you are prone to encountering physical difficulties at higher elevations.\n?We will be using SUVs for this workshop. A passenger car will not work because we will be driving on many dirt roads where we will need high clearance and traction that an SUV provides.\nA deposit is required to secure your spot on this workshop.
