SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Icons of NYC
DESCRIPTION:Few places are as bright and exciting as New York City. The “Big Apple” is a metropolitan giant that offers a huge palette of people\, culture\, architecture\, history\, and interest for photographers of every level. For this springtime adventure\, we will explore particular icons of NYC such as DUMBO Park\, the Brooklyn Bridge\, the 9/11 Memorial and Oculus Train Station\, Grand Central Station\, and Coney Island. Each day\, we will work on aspects of street photography\, architectural photography\, documentary photography\, subject development\, exposure\, image composition\, color\, black and white photography\, low-light photography\, and long exposures. Not only will we help you improve your photography skills\, but you will also photograph some of the most iconic scenes in New York City. \nWe will maximize our time in the field but\, also leave time to relax and have group discussions at our hotel. Once on location\, we will travel to and from locations by walking\, subway\, and local transportation. \n  \nGeneral Itinerary \nMay 28 – 4pm- Meet\, Greet\, Dinner\, Sunset Shoot in DUMBO Park \nMay 29 – 8am- Hike across Brooklyn Bridge to 9/11 Memorial and Oculus Train Station. All day event with sunset in DUMBO Park \nMay 30 – 8am- Take transit to Grand Central Station for day of photography. Possible visit to Times Square. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Spring in Solon\, Maine
DESCRIPTION:Spring in the woods of Maine is an exciting time for creativity. Each May\, the woods come alive with new growth that will inspire any photographer. Colorful wildflowers\, blooming trees\, streams\, waterfalls\, the night sky\, and local culture all make for fantastic photo opportunities as we explore\, learn\, and create in and around the rural town of Solon\, Maine. \nSolon\, Maine will host this Adventure: a four-day workshop featuring hands-on instruction during daily field trips\, in-depth classroom discussion\, and professional guidance from Hunt’s Photo’s Director of Photo Adventures Don Toothaker in a rustic\, relaxed atmosphere.\nSolon is a small town at the edge of some of Maine’s premier wilderness areas. Once home to a vibrant farming and logging industry\, Solon is now a quiet village that caters to outdoorsman and eco-tourism year round. Daily field trips will provide everyone with a variety of subjects that showcase the beauty and diversity of the region. \nSkill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome\nPhysical Activity: Medium. This specialized adventure will immerse you in the beauty of the region as you capture the iconic White Horses of Camargue\, vibrant Pink Flamingos\, and breathtaking lavender fields in Provence. You’ll explore charming historic villages\, learning to photograph their unique architecture and rich culture while honing your skills in both action and landscape photography. With expert guidance from Jeff and insights from Patrice\, a true local\, this workshop is perfect for photographers of all skill levels looking to enhance their craft and create a stunning portfolio. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the magic of southern France through your lens! \n  \nFull Workshop Itinerary \n• Day 1- Saturday June 21st –  Arrival at Marseille Provence Airport (MRS)\, airport pickup to hotel in Provence.  \n• Day 2- Sunday June 22nd  – Morning shoot at Senanque abbey (surrounded by lavender fields)\, then Gordes. Lunch in the village of Gordes. Afternoon shoot in the lavender fields \n• Day 3- Monday June 23rd – Morning shoot in the lavender fields. Lunch in the village of Fontaine de Vaucluse. Afternoon shoot at the 2000 years old roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard \n• Day 4- Tuesday June 24th – Morning shoot at the village of Roussillon. Lunch in the town of Apt.
