SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Autumn in Yellowstone National Park
DESCRIPTION:Autumn in Yellowstone National Park provides every photographer ample opportunity to capture images showcasing the breathtaking scenery\, inspiring nature\, and dramatic wildlife.  Photographers will be inspired by the autumn colors\, the drama of the seasonal rut\, a variety of wildlife\, and a diverse palette of nature scenes.  Each day\, based on weather\, light\, and activity\, we will explore the park for wildlife such as Elk\, Bears\, Bison\, and Great Grey Owls.  Landscape and nature opportunities will include the beauty of Lamar and Hayden Valleys\, geyser basins\, waterfalls\, autumn trees\, and historic rivers.  Yellowstone in autumn is not to be missed! \nItinerary \nOct 2 arrival to Bozeman.   We will have a group dinner to discuss plans for the week and discuss safety and protocol. Stay at Best Western in Bozeman\, MT. \nOct 3 – 7am start.  Attendees will meet in the lobby at 7am with bags and gear.  Our guide Adam Brubaker will drive us to West Yellowstone where we will stay for the week. Stay at Best Western Desert Inn\, West Yellowstone MT \nOct 4 – 9:  Each day we will set out in search of wildlife and nature scenes. These are easier to fit in the vans and allow flexibility for tight spaces. \n\n\nDuffel bags are good as well. \n\n\nConsider stair access at hotels or historic accommodations — if you anticipate needing to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs\, pack only what you can comfortably manage. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Wild Horses in Utah
DESCRIPTION:Workshop Description \nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education for our annual adventure to photograph the Wild Horses of Utah! Join us as we search out and photograph one of the largest herds of wild horses in Utah!\nThis is a unique photography workshop right out of “The Old West”! Wild Horses have occupied this mountainous region of Utah since the late 1800’s. The herd is approximately 200 – 250 horses and is the largest herd of wild horses in the west. Mares and stallions average around 800 to 1000 pounds. The colors within the herd are brown\, bay\, paint\, sorrel\, roan\, buckskin\, black\, palomino\, and gray. The variety is endless due to the frequent breeding within the herd. There are many foal\, yearlings and colts that roam with the herd. The horses are in good condition and are frequently seen in the vicinity of the Pony Express Trail in the valley floor. On this workshop\, we will photograph the wild horses as well as other local scenes and wildlife.\nOn this workshop\, you will want to bring a variety of lenses\, from wide-angle to super-telephoto. The distance to your subjects can vary\, as the horses can be right next to you or far in the distance\, but it is certainly recommended to consider bringing a super-telephoto in the range of 500-600mm. DESCRIPTION:Workshop Description\nThe mountainous region of northwest Scotland\, known as the Scottish Highlands\, is a landscape photographer’s delight. The Highlands\, created centuries ago by fire and ice\, are an inspiring mix of dramatic mountains\, moody lakes\, and dynamic light. The scenery here is simply stunning. Our journey through the Highlands will also take us through quaint villages\, ancient castles\, renowned distilleries\, and more. By design\, we will explore the rugged landscapes of the Highlands while also enjoying the best of Scotland’s proud culture too.
