DESCRIPTION:Workshop Description\nIn any season\, Vermont is a highly photogenic\, bucolic combination of rural atmosphere and classic New England scenes. Red barns\, covered bridges\, rolling landscapes\, and abstract formations of ice make Vermont appealing even during winter. Winter is a challenging season for all photographers\, but it also provides ample opportunity for beautiful and rewarding images. We will explore several areas around Woodstock Vermont that challenge and reward photographers of all skill levels.\nSome Locations We Will Explore:\nQueechee\nWoodstock\nJenne Farm\nThe Sugar Shack\nCountry Stores\nBillings Farm\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic assignments each day.\nSkill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome\nPhysical Activity: Low to Medium. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Iceland- A Winter Adventure
DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Adventures for our second trip to the ?Land of Fire and Ice?! Led by instructors Robert Fletcher and Jeff Swinger\, this workshop will take you into a land in a way you have likely never experienced? the winter! This will give you a unique look to the land of the largest glaciers and most active volcanoes in Europe!\nIceland in winter is a unique place\, with frozen waterfalls\, beautiful ice caves\, glaciers & frozen lagoons\, and of course the fantastic Northern Lights ? Aurora Borealis. We will travel from Reykjavik\, visit Glacier Lagoon on the South Coast of Iceland\, the M?vatn area in the North and explore lesser known areas as we head into the winter season. \nYour trip includes:\n\nAll accommodations with private bathrooms during the workshop\nAll breakfast (buffet breakfast) during the tour.\nGuiding by Hunt’s Photo Adventure?s Robert Fletcher and Jeff Swinger & an Icelandic Pro Photographer\nImage Critique & Post Processing session\nSuper Truck transportation ? We use our specially modified 4?4 Super Truck for transportation in our Iceland Workshops.\nAccommodations:?Accommodation in double occupancy for eleven nights at hotels\, single room available upon request. We stay at the various hotels & guesthouses\, but as close as possible to our photography locations. The workshop concludes when we check into our last hotel night in Reykjavik ? Participants will then have time to visit Reykjavik or rest for early flights.\nSkill Sets:?All Levels of Photographers are Welcome. While this is a photography workshop\, non-photographers may also register\, but please note that we will emphasize photographing on the workshop.\nPhysical Ability:?The tour is open to all ability levels. While this is not a hiking tour\, we will be as active as conditions allow and make short walks and potentially hike up small 100-200 meter hills.\nMisc:?The Workshop includes Photographic tutoring and guidance by our Hunt’s Photo Education team as well as a pro landscape photographer from Iceland. We will provide you with a packing list for the tour\, with recommended equipment and clothing. Safety gear provided when needed\, such as helmets and crampons.\nA Note About Payments and Deposits:?A deposit of $1\,000 is required upon sign-up to secure a spot. The remaining balance is due 90-days prior to the workshop. After this point\, the workshop is non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.\nAbout our instructors\nRobert Fletcher?began his full-time photography career in 1970. Following in the footsteps of Ansel Adams\, he mostly photographed people (children\, portraits\, weddings\, seniors\, etc.)\, which paid the bills. Over time\, he became interested in photographing wildlife and landscapes\, mostly for personal pleasure. In 1999\, he was asked to become a ?Stringer? for Canon USA and has been in that position since then. It has led Robert towards teaching\, leading workshops and sharing his life-long passion with others. He always looks forward to sharing his knowledge of photography with those who are anxious to learn.\nJeff Swinger?boasts nearly 30 years of professional experience built upon his passion for telling stories through images. He honed his skills over 16 years with The Cincinnati Enquirer covering news and sports and has covered four Olympic Games for USA Today Sports. Additionally\, Jeff works as an educational contributor and freelance Pro Market Representative for Canon USA and travels domestically and internationally conducting photo tours and workshops. Jeff lives with his family in Park City\, Utah.

SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Winter in the North Woods of Maine
DESCRIPTION:Workshop Description\nThe forests and woodlands around Millinocket Maine are a vast and rugged region in any season\, but especially so in winter. Snow\, ice\, and wind sculpt the landscape into dramatic scenes waiting to be seen and discovered. Winter is a challenging season for photography\, but the image rewards can be uniquely beautiful for every hearty photographer. Just outside of Millinocket\, The Golden Road serves as an unpaved highway into the heart of some very remote areas. Each day we will leave the comfort of our private\, cozy cabins and explore areas along the Golden Road for inspiring views of Mount Kathadin\, forests\, wilderness ponds\, the Penobscot River\, and the always present chance of encountering a wide array of wildlife.\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and image review during the workshop.\nSkill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome\nPhysical Activity: Medium. We will experience longer days as well as walking/scrambling over rocky terrain. Walking/Hiking up to a mile each way may be necessary.\nDuring this Workshop We will Cover:\n? Exposure\n? SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Winter in the White Mountains
DESCRIPTION:Adventure Description\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education for a short weekend photographing in the White Mountains in Central New Hampshire! We will start photographing on Friday at Diana?s Baths in North Conway in the morning. We will continue along to the Swift River until late in the afternoon\, then have dinner and an image review where we will discuss the day. On Saturday\, we will work our way along ?the Kanc?\, including Sabbaday Falls\, the Basin and more. The workshop will conclude at about 3pm on Saturday.\nOn this workshop\, we will discuss numerous aspects of photography\, including subject development\, exposure\, black and white photography\, composition\, and more!
