A full demonstration of a light painting will be shown and then the process of combining multiple images to create the final work of art will be demonstrated.\nAbout Shiv\nShiv Verma\, FPSA\, MNEC is a published author\, photographer\, educator and technologist. He is a Panasonic Lumix Global Ambassador\, Wacom Pro-Artist and an X-Rite Coloratti. He has been photographing for over 50 years and has evolved his photography to express his intense devotion to wildlife and nature. Over the years has earned numerous awards and recognition both nationally and internationally. Shiv devotes a great deal of his time formally reviewing photography related products\, to education in digital photography and is a speaker and competition judge.\nShiv?s book Time-Lapse Imagery was published in February 2014.

Mike will have a limited number of cameras set up on site for those who don’t currently own an OM System camera to try out these cool features.

DESCRIPTION:Join Tamron for a hands-on reptile photo shoot with Hunt’s Photo\, Tamron Lenses\, and Reptile Shows of New England. Tamron will share technical tips and tricks needed for handheld close-up photography\, which will allow you to achieve consistently tack sharp images\, all in a single frame?and all without the need for a tripod! Topics will include specific camera settings\, lens selection\, overcoming distracting backgrounds\, using flash to properly balance exposure and achieve dramatic results\, and traditional and non-traditional gear hacks to maximize your time spent photographing your subjects.\nA Tamron representative will be on-hand providing free loaner lenses with incredible close-up capabilities in a variety of focal lengths.\nParticipants should bring a camera with a fully charged battery\, memory card\, any lens in the 18-400mm range (or borrow a Tamron lens!). Group sizes for this workshop will be limited to allow everyone an opportunity to capture images of the various reptiles on display.
