SUMMARY:Holiday Macro & Tabletop Photography Workshop (Manchester)
DESCRIPTION:Hunt’s Photo Education is proud to present our annual Holiday Macro & Tabletop Workshops. These workshops are designed to help you create\, compose\, and photograph stellar mini-holiday masterpieces.\nWe will begin the workshop with a demo that will discuss camera settings\, lighting\, composition\, subject placement\, and more. You will then create and photograph your compositions for the remainder of the time during the workshop\, with instructor assistance available. Our ultimate goal in this workshop is at least one “final piece” that can be printed on a large scale.\nAt the end of the workshop\, attendees will work edit and process their images individually and submit 1-2 images to the instructors for review. After the workshop\, we will print the images 13×19″ and you will be able to keep the print.\nThis will be a fun and challenging workshop that will walk you through the full process of creating stellar holiday macro imagery. We will stay with you during the editing process\, and even guide you in understanding the best processing for a final print. Join us for one of our favorite workshops of the year!

We will spend our day creating a variety of unique macro scenarios and learning about the use of light and light modifiers. In this workshop we will cover exposure\, composition\, how to use macro lenses and extension tubes\, how to set up lighting\, how to use light modifiers and more!\nWe will be bringing lots of props and flowers to photograph for this workshop. However\, we find in our macro workshops that our attendees value shooting some things of their own as much if not more than what we bring. So\, while we will have props\, feel free to bring your own props\, trinkets\, and other things that may (or may not) be important to you!\nWe will also have a follow-up online image review to help understand your images better!

SUMMARY:Food Photography Workshop- Drips\, Drizzles\, Dustings\, and Drops!
DESCRIPTION:In our hands-on Food Photography workshops\, we cover all aspects of food photography: exposure\, composition\, styling\, working with food\, lighting\, props\, and more.  In this workshop– Drips\, Drizzles\, Dustings\, and Drops– we will also be emphasizing flourishes– Drips\, Drizzles\, Dustings\, and Drops! For example\, the drip of syrup onto pancakes\, the drizzle of icing on cookies\, the dusting of salt onto popcorn\, and the dropping of cookies into milk! Attendees will work in teams of two and have four separate setups that can be altered\, but are “ready to go” for basic image execution. In the end\, you’ll have at least four completely separate and unique food photo concepts to add to your food gallery of images!\nIn the class\, we will cover many of the basics for beginners\, such as exposure\, composition\, lighting and styling\, but also the advanced technique of movement.\nFor this workshop\, we will provide some foods and flourishes\, but photographers are welcome to bring their own ideas and foods as well! We will also provide lighting and diffusers. Photographers are welcome to bring their own additional props.\nBeware! This workshop will make your mouth water!
