DESCRIPTION:This is an ALL AGES event open to any photographers (pro\, amateur\, hobby\, etc) \nPlease note: This class is a seminar only\, which you can attend live at Hunt’s Photo or watch streaming (via zoom) – both tickets are available. \nOVERVIEW \n\nHave you ever wanted to see Jeremy do a real life\, full day\, full scale photo shoot with a band? What do you need to do to prepare for the shoot in pre-production? How do you make a proper call sheet and shot list? Want to see what goes into every decision from location solving\, selecting the lighting\, the poses\, directing\, the shots\, and beyond? Now is your chance\, for the first time ever\, Jeremy will be doing a full live photo shoot with a band while step by step breaking down and calling out every decision\, every pose\, every light placement\, every change in lighting\, every change in pose (and why that direction was given)\, and every shot taken to achieve the goal of a successful photo shoot. This will be a unique opportunity to see every detail\, with explanation\, that goes into a full photo shoot from the perspective of a learning student audience from preproduction to wrap. \nTopics covered:\nPre-Production: what goes into prepping the shoot\nLighting selections: What lights to use in what lighting situations and why\nPre-pro lighting plots: What lighting set ups are pre-determined to be used for the shoot\nPre-pro posing ideas: An idea of what poses will work with what lighting and why\nCall sheet: Not only will we cover the call sheet but all students will get a call sheet to take home documenting exactly what details are in the shoot and schedule.\nShot lists: Putting together a comprehensive shot list with room for changes on the fly\nGreeting the band: What to do upon arrival of band\nPre-pro meeting with band: What is talking about before the shoot\nSet up: Setting up the studio and prepping the gear to be shoot ready\nTest Shots: getting test shots in before the band is ready to shoot\nThe Photo Shoot: A full day photo shoot with the band concentrating on direction\, posing\, lighting\, and interacting with the band.\n\n10:00 a.m. – Intro to Jeremy Saffer\n10:15 a.m. – Pre Production\n11:00 a.m. – Shot Lists\n11:30 a.m. – Hands on gear demo\n12:00 p.m. – Break / Lunch (Time may vary)\n12:30 p.m. – Band Arrival/band pre-shoot meeting\n12:45 p.m. – Test Shot\n1 p.m. – Live Shoot: A full live photo shoot with the band. DESCRIPTION:About The Printed Review Monthly \nThe printed image shows our successes and our faults at a much higher level of detail than the digital image. To become better photographers\, it helps to understand this by creating the printed image as a final product. \nOur Print Review Monthly is a chance to continue the print conversation over the course of many months. The concept of these classes is similar to our Printed Vision Series Classes: Attendees will independently process 1-2 images and upload them to the instructor for review. The instructor will send back a video image review which will discuss how to improve the image to make it “print ready”\, including exposure\, focus\, composition\, and especially paper selection. The instructor will then print one of the images to be displayed in the Print Review\, which will take place both in-person and online\, in case you cannot attend live. In the end of each session\, you will end up with a print up to 13×19” on Fine Art paper to take home with you. (We print on Moab\, Hahnemuhle\, and Canson fine art papers.) \nFor this class\, you can either choose a single session OR sign up for three months at a discounted rate.  You do not need to attend 3 consecutive sessions and may attend whenever it’s convenient. Choosing this option is excellent to keep the printing conversation going! However\, please note that the sessions expire after one year. (If you end up not being able to attend all the sessions\, you can also exchange a session for an additional print!) \nThese sessions are excellent for anyone: \n• Someone that wants a little help with editing before they get a print \n• Someone that does print but has print-related questions \n• A person that prints often and wants to try a different paper \n• Someone with no knowledge of printing that just wants to get a print! \n  \nCome check out why printing is the best thing to do for your photography! \n  \nReceiving Your Print\nAfter the class\, your print can either be mailed to you or picked up at one of our Hunt’s Photo store locations. \nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to upload images for the image review\, and the link to get into the online class. (You won’t need this if you’re attending live.) If you sign up for the bundle of three sessions\, we will send out updates monthly with new upload and class links. \n“You Are Being Recorded” (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class! The video will be available for download about 24-hours after the class for all attendees\, so don’t worry about taking unending notes. We will send this link attendees to download and rewatch at any time.
