SUMMARY:Developing Color Film- Hunt's Photo Waltham
DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education as we discuss all the key elements of loading and developing film\, and get you to develop a roll on your own! In this workshop\, we will show you how to load film into a developing tank\, discuss the elements of the chemistry involved\, and other various aspects. Because of the many variables\, we will only be using one specific type of developer\, but we will discuss the possibilities of other developers available and their advantages. \nPlease note: This class caters to color/C-41 type film developing only! We will also have a black and white film developing class. All film classes can be found here. \nWe will provide tanks\, reels\, chemistry\, and basically anything that you need to develop your film. All you will need to have is a roll of film to develop. \nWe will also include a free scan of your film after it has been processed! Since your film will be wet at the end of the session\, you will leave it to dry so it can be scanned. The digital scans will be sent directly to your email address. If you would like the negatives to be shipped to another store for pickup\, we can gladly do that!

DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education as we discuss all the key elements of loading and developing film\, and get you to develop a roll on your own! In this workshop\, we will show you how to load film into a developing tank\, discuss the elements of the chemistry involved\, and other various aspects. Because of the many variables\, we will only be using one specific type of developer\, but we will discuss the possibilities of other developers available and their advantages. \nPlease note: This class caters to color/C-41 type film developing only! We will also have a black and white film developing class. All film classes can be found here. \nWe will provide tanks\, reels\, chemistry\, and basically anything that you need to develop your film. All you will need to have is a roll of film to develop. \nWe will also include a free scan of your film after it has been processed! Since your film will be wet at the end of the session\, you will leave it to dry so it can be scanned. The digital scans will be sent directly to your email address. If you would like the negatives to be shipped to another store for pickup\, we can gladly do that!

Join Star Wars fanboy (and photography instructor) Paul Nelson as we photograph Star Wars cosplayers for this fun and unique photo workshop. \nWe will start with a brief introduction on how to position lights to create mood and a “cinematic look”. We will then dive in to photograph our cosplayers with the emphasis on creating a dramatic look utilizing two sections of our Hunt’s Photo Waltham classroom. We’ll discuss how to light and what to use\, create shadows and textures\, work with models and more!\nIn this workshop\, we will cover:\n• How to compose the lighting in a scene- in this workshop we will specifically be using LED for simplicity\n• Creating dynamic shadows and effects in your work with lighting\, as well as other light modification\n• How to work with (posing and directing) models to achieve a desired look\n• Developing a creative concept in portraits\, not only using lighting and posing\, but also costumes (and if applicable\, hair and make-up) \nYou do not need to own a flash or lighting to attend this workshop.
