SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Cruisin' Downtown Manchester Car Show
DESCRIPTION:The 25th Anniversary Cruisin’ Downtown takes place in Manchester\, NH and is promoted as New England’s largest classic car show! The show shuts down Elm St for most of Saturday\, allowing spectators to explore the hundreds and hundreds of classic cars. We’ll arrive early in the day as cars are setting up and before crowds have gotten too thick to allow us the best access to all the compositions we desire. This is also an excellent opportunity to practice street photography and use a CPL filter. Travel light and have fun!

SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Wabi-Sabi at The Seashore Trolley Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join Emily Hojnowski as we explore the Seashore Trolley Museum of Kennebunkport\, ME. The museum has a collection of vehicles that show how public transportation has changed through the years. On this workshop we will discuss subject development\, composition\, exposure\, circular polarizers\, fine art photography\, and more! \nWe will also photograph with an emphasis on Wabi-sabi. Wabi-sabi is a Japanese concept that centers around beauty in imperfection and the acceptance of transience. In photography\, we can use this aesthetic to find and compose unique and interesting subjects. The Seashore Trolley Museum has a plethora of aged and imperfect subjects for us to work with.  Join us for this fun-filled and unique walk!

SUMMARY:Beginner Photography in the Field: Manchester\, NH
DESCRIPTION:Learning about photography can be a real challenge. There are so many pieces to the puzzle of photography\, some of which use confusing terminology. And while we also offer other wonderful Beginner Photography classes to get you started\, nothing is truly the same as hands-on in-the-field! It’s important to fully understand the why and how of your camera settings.\nIn this outdoor\, hands-on class\, you’ll learn all about the basics of photography. We will discuss Exposure (how light works with the camera)\, the Big Three Settings (Aperture\, Shutter Speed\, & ISO)\, how they affect your picture and how to set them\, and what mode to set it to on your camera! We’ll discuss changing depth-of-field (controlling what?s in focus in the background)\, stopping or blurring the action in your scene\, and many other basic picture-taking techniques. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about your camera in a fun and safe environment! Join us to strengthen your photographic knowledge!\nIn this session of Beginner Photography in the Field…\n…we will be going to Dorrs Pond in Manchester\, New Hampshire. Dorrs Pond is a recreational area with a gorgeous nature trail that leads around the pond with lots of birds! All of these elements make for a wonderful experience to learn beginner photography while in the field. Bring your camera and your enthusiasm to learn all about photography in a hands-on\, real-life environment! \nWant to keep the knowledge going? SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Piers Park\, East Boston
DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a photo walk at Piers Park in East Boston. During the walk\, we will discuss shooting in lower light with an emphasis on night photography. This will include assistance with exposure\, composition\, focusing\, use of tripods\, and a myriad of other settings and concepts!\nMuch of East Boston consists of dense residential neighborhoods\, in part as a carryover from the area?s heavy influx of immigration at the turn of the previous century\, and in part to its proximity to downtown Boston. Piers Park was developed in the mid-1990s as a contrast to this\, offering beautiful landscaping\, natural vegetation\, and stunning views of downtown Boston. On this walk\, we will photograph the grounds of Piers Park and the skyline during blue hour\, sunset\, and civil twilight. Photographers of all levels are welcome!

SUMMARY:The Hunt's Photo Education Black and White Weekend Workshop 2026
DESCRIPTION:Hunt’s Photo Education Presents…The Weekend Workshops: A long weekend featuring education seminars\, photo walks and workshops\, image reviews\, editing\, and fine art printing\, all in glorious black and white. \nDuring the weekend\, each attendee will have the opportunity to attend four Photo Walks/Workshops. We will have an introductory meet and greet and presentation on the first evening that will set the tone and expectations for the weekend\, as well as allow attendees to mingle with other attendees. On days 2 and 3\, our instructors will conduct one Photo Walk in the mid/late morning and one Photo Walk in the evening. They will repeat the same schedule on Friday and Saturday. (So\, if you attend a Photo Walk with Instructor A on Friday morning\, you’ll have the ability to attend a different Photo Walk with Instructor B on Saturday morning.)\nDuring the middle part of Friday and Saturday\, we will have image reviews\, image processing\, and have general photography discussions. You are welcome to attend these\, or you can take a break\, if needed! \nOn Day 4\, we will print and review selected images from all attendees. You are welcome to take these images with you after the workshop! \nThis year will be centered out of our Hunt’s Photo Melrose store location. Our Melrose store has a large classroom area which will be excellent for our editing and review sessions! For planning purposes\, be aware that many of our walks and workshops will be taking place outside of the Melrose area and you will need to travel to those locations. \nJoin us for a fantastic weekend of photo fun! \n  \nPlease Note: We are in the process of finalizing our Photo Walk/Workshop Schedule. These walks will not be posted\, but we will inform you of locations in the week leading up to the event.
