SUMMARY:Hunt's Portrait Workshop: Portrait Lighting Bootcamp
DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for our Portrait Lighting Bootcamp\, where we will workshop portraits using practical lighting options. Lighting can be intimidating\, whether using a speedlight on camera (or off) or a studio strobe. Our goal is to get each attendee more comfortable with the basics of lighting\, demonstrate how and why to set up lights in certain ways\, and how to create stunning portraits with these lights.\nIn the workshop\, we will create three basic setups with models at each location: Creative lighting portraits; corporate head shots; and full-length portraits. We will utilize studio strobes\, speedlights\, and constant lighting in order to get you comfortable with using all three.\nMost importantly\, attendees will be guiding the setup (and take down) of all the gear. This allows for more hands-on working with everything involved with studio lighting\, from the light to the light stand to the background.\nAttendees are encouraged to bring their own gear\, but we will begin with gear that anyone can use\, including:\n-Studio Strobes\n-Speedlights\n-LED Lighting\n-Radio Triggers\n-Lightmeters\nThis workshop will emphasize creating portraits using studio light and/or strobes. Please note that we will be holding our Posing for Portraits on Saturday\, February 5th. If you sign up for both workshops\, you will receive an additional $50 off of the total! SUMMARY:Lensbaby Macro Photography Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Lensbaby lenses are a unique series of lenses\, available for most camera systems that give a variety of looks and effects. From swirling bokeh to dramatic vignettes\, velvety glows to swirly blurs\, and often with a bright sharp center\, these lenses present a unique style for the user experience. Lensbaby lenses are also not always the easiest to use or understand and require a lot of practice and fine-tuning.\nIn this workshop\, we will be working exclusively with Lensbaby to create Macro (and Tabletop) images. We will begin with a demo discussing using Lensbaby\, how to factor in lighting\, and creating macro setups\, and then dive right into individuals photographing their own setups.\nThis will be an excellent way to workshop your lens and is recommended for anyone that has struggled with or has questions on Lensbaby!

SUMMARY:Still Life Photography Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Still life artwork has a history dating back centuries\, and has existed in photography since it became a medium. Still life photography is often used as a way of demonstrating composition\, framing\, and lighting. This deceptively simple genre has endless variations and possibilities\, and we will spend the day tackling some of these concepts!\nIn this hands-on workshop\, we will talk about how to elevate still life images. We will discuss how to compose\, light\, and photograph your subject to convey the story and mood you envision. We will also show you how to get it right in camera so you can spend less time editing and more time shooting!\nAttendees are recommended to not only bring their camera and tripod\, but also consider bringing some basic items that you may want to photograph during the workshop.
