SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Experience: Flattering Portraits with Bobbi Lane
DESCRIPTION:The photographer needs to possess the lighting\, posing\, and communication skills to create “flattering portraits” consistently\, on demand.  This presentation will cover “corrective techniques” or how to make “real” people look good. For example: wide or thin faces\, crooked or big noses\, glasses\, wrinkles or scars\, lazy eyes\, deep set eyes\, receding hair\, etc. This workshop will cover lighting\, both flattering and effective\, posing for maximum impact\, choosing color or black and white\, and how to set the mood. It will also cover communication skills for helping your subject relax and be authentic\, and also for guiding them to expressions that match the mood and lighting are explored in detail. \nThere will be a brief opportunity towards the end of the session for attendees to photograph each other. (And if there are no volunteers\, there’s a gentleman pictured below that will stand in!) This technique is invaluable for tabletop and product photography\, where achieving full focus from the foreground to the background is crucial. It eliminates the need to stop down the aperture\, thereby avoiding diffraction and ensuring maximum image clarity.  \nFrame Averaging \nFrame Averaging offers a powerful solution for creating long exposure effects in broad daylight—without the need for ND filters. By averaging multiple frames\, it not only simulates long exposures but also significantly reduces image noise.
