And while we also offer other wonderful Beginner Photography classes to get you started\, nothing is truly the same as hands-on in-the-field! It?s important to fully understand the ?why? and ?how? of your camera settings.\nIn this outdoor\, hands-on class\, you’ll learn all about the basics of photography. We will discuss Exposure (how light works with the camera)\, the Big Three Settings (Aperture\, Shutter Speed\, & ISO)\, how they affect your picture and how to set them\, and what mode to set it to on your camera! We’ll discuss changing depth-of-field (controlling what?s in focus in the background)\, stopping or blurring the action in your scene\, and many other basic picture-taking techniques. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about your camera in a fun and safe environment! Join us to strengthen your photographic knowledge!\nIn this session of Beginner Photography in the Field…\n…we will be going to Lovejoy Wharf in Boston. Boston is a vibrant\, colorful city after dark. Despite the limitations of darkness there is still great detail and color to be captured through your lenses. Our walk will take us through the Lovejoy Wharf area of the North End. We will make use of evening light\, civil twilight\, and night time as we explore the architecture and city highlights. All of these elements make for a wonderful experience to learn beginner photography while in the field. Bring your camera and your enthusiasm to learn all about photography in a hands-on\, real-life environment!
