DESCRIPTION:Introductory Presentation Wed Jan 5th\, 7pm EST\nImage Review wed Feb 1st\, 7pm EST\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education as we help develop your photographic technique\, prowess\, and understanding with our Developing Technique Series. These classes are similar to our Personal Vision classes\, but designed more as technical exercises to work different elements of utilizing your photography. We will give an overview on a specific topic in an online class session\, then give you time to go into the field by yourself (or with someone else\, if you choose) to complete an assignment based on that topic. We will reconvene a few days later for an online image review to discuss elements of your images.\nSimilar to the Personal Vision Series classes\, the Developing Technique Series forces you to take it upon yourself to journey out on your own and find something to photograph. This will cause you to be the driving force in making yourself a better photographer!\nThis month?s topic is An Intimate Look at Your House. We will have an instructional online presentation on the first date and will reconvene for our Image Review on the second date. You will have that time period in between to photograph and edit our assignment.\nYour ability to develop technique is essential in mastering your camera.

SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Haverhill at Night in Black & White
DESCRIPTION:Join instructor Don Toothaker for a special photo walk in Haverhill\, MA where we will concentrate on being able to see and photograph in Black & White. During the walk\, we will also discuss elements that contribute to become more adept at both Black and White and night photography\, including exposure\, focusing\, composition and much more! Photographers of all skill levels are welcome!\nHaverhill\, Massachusetts was once known as the “Queen Slipper City” for its high percentage of shoes produced in the town. The town retains the look of a manufacturing town\, and this look translates extremely well to the look of Black & White photography. On this walk\, we will move about the downtown area and along the Merrimack River at dusk and into the night. Our task will be to focus our energies into how to effectively see and create images in Black & White.

DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for an early morning walk of Good Harbor Beach\, Rockport and its harbor\, Bearskin Neck\, and other points of interest. We will discuss Exposure\, Subject Development\, Image Composition\, HDR\, Black & White Photography and more. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.\nRockport is one of the best places to have both a Photo Walk and a class. There’s a great variety to photograph in Rockport\, from architecture to scenery\, from portraits to macro\, in Color and in Black & White. The town is both vibrant and weathered. We will work on composition\, as well as settings to fine-tune focus and exposure. This Photo Walk is one of the best opportunities to build your photographic knowledge\, no matter what level. This walk is equally as beneficial as a first walk or a twentieth walk\, as the area has so much to offer! SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Winter in Yellowstone National Park
DESCRIPTION:Photographing Yellowstone National Park during the winter is a memorable experience for every photographer. January\, with its snow and cold temperatures\, transforms America?s oldest national park into a wondrous land full of unique opportunities to photograph wildlife amid the dramatic landscapes of winter. For the week we will explore the park in two parts to capitalize on the best wildlife and landscape opportunities possible. The first half of the trip will be spent exploring the northern section of the park. Each day we will leave by van from Gardiner Montana in search of bison\, moose\, coyotes\, fox\, bobcat\, and more along the Lamar Valley Road. Whenever possible we will photograph scenic landscapes as well. We will spend the second half of our trip exploring the interior of the park by custom snow coaches specially designed for traveling over snow. Each day we will leave from West Yellowstone Montana searching for the best wildlife activity and landscapes the interior has to offer. Traveling the park in these specialized vehicles is quite an adventure.\nItinerary\nJan 14 ? Arrive Bozeman Montana (Saturday fly in by afternoon)\nJan 14 ? Pick up from Airport and transfer to Gardiner MT (hotel stay 14\, 15\, 16)\nJan 15- 17 ? Use van for exploring the Northern section of the park\nJan 17 ? Arrive West Yellowstone after sunset (hotel stay 17\,18\,19\,20)\nJan 18 -20 ? Use Snow Coaches to explore interior of Yellowstone (three full days)\nJan 21 ?
