These classes are similar to our Personal Vision classes\, but designed more as technical exercises to work different elements of utilizing your photography. We will give an overview on a specific topic in an online class session\, then give you time to go into the field by yourself (or with someone else\, if you choose) to complete an assignment based on that topic. We will reconvene a few days later for an online image review to discuss elements of your images.\nSimilar to the Personal Vision Series classes\, the Developing Technique Series forces you to take it upon yourself to journey out on your own and find something to photograph. This will cause you to be the driving force in making yourself a better photographer!\nThis month?s topic is An Intimate Look at Your House. We will have an instructional online presentation on the first date and will reconvene for our Image Review on the second date. You will have that time period in between to photograph and edit our assignment.\nYour ability to develop technique is essential in mastering your camera.

DESCRIPTION:Workshop Description\nIn any season\, Vermont is a highly photogenic\, bucolic combination of rural atmosphere and classic New England scenes. Red barns\, covered bridges\, rolling landscapes\, and abstract formations of ice make Vermont appealing even during winter. Winter is a challenging season for all photographers\, but it also provides ample opportunity for beautiful and rewarding images. We will explore several areas around Woodstock Vermont that challenge and reward photographers of all skill levels.\nSome Locations We Will Explore:\nQueechee\nWoodstock\nJenne Farm\nThe Sugar Shack\nCountry Stores\nBillings Farm\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic assignments each day.\nSkill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome\nPhysical Activity: Low to Medium. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: A Winter Day at Olde Sturbridge Village
DESCRIPTION:Located an hour west of Boston\, Sturbridge Village is a proud replication of an 18th century New England town. Sturbridge Village is a living history museum that features many authentic period buildings and homes to explore and enjoy. The village is also inhabited by re-enactors who provide colorful insight to life in New England during the 18th century. Sturbridge Village is a wonderful destination for a multitude of photographic opportunities as well as a glimpse into a bygone era.\nOlde Sturbridge Village is perhaps one of the best places to have both a Photo Walk and a class. There’s a little bit of everything at this living history museum\, from macro and closeup with fine details to architecture\, from portraits to landscapes. We will photograph both indoors and outdoors\, in regular light as well as very low light. We will discuss how to work with subjects to create a story\, and also work on settings to fine-tune focus and exposure! This Photo Walk is one of the best opportunities to build your photographic knowledge\, no matter what level. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Mid-Coast Maine in Winter- Lighthouses and Steam Trains
DESCRIPTION:The coast of Maine is distinctive\, beautiful\, and highly photogenic. The many small towns of Mid Coast Maine are home to a dramatic shoreline\, quaint fishing harbors\, and dramatic lighthouses. Over the course of this short weekend workshop\, we will photograph Pemaquid Point Lighthouse at sunset and other locations along the coast. We will also photograph the Wiscasset Steam Railway for one of its steam train events.\nEach location we will photograph makes for a dynamic destination that will challenge photographers of every skill level.

DESCRIPTION:***Please note new dates for this workshop*** \nWorkshop Description\nThe forests and woodlands around Millinocket Maine are a vast and rugged region in any season\, but especially so in winter. Snow\, ice\, and wind sculpt the landscape into dramatic scenes waiting to be seen and discovered. Winter is a challenging season for photography\, but the image rewards can be uniquely beautiful for every hearty photographer. Just outside of Millinocket\, The Golden Road serves as an unpaved highway into the heart of some very remote areas. Each day we will leave the comfort of our private\, cozy cabins and explore areas along the Golden Road for inspiring views of Mount Kathadin\, forests\, wilderness ponds\, the Penobscot River\, and the always present chance of encountering a wide array of wildlife.\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and image review during the workshop.\nSkill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome\nPhysical Activity: Medium.
