In addition to the abundance of birdlife in the state\, the birds are quite approachable and easy to photograph. We will explore some prime birding locations\, including the famed Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and the Orlando Wetlands.? But in addition to these bird photography locations\, there are several other lesser-known\, nearby sites where the photography is simply spectacular.? This trip will occur at a time of year when many birds will be in breeding plumage (and exhibiting some breeding behavior).? You can expect to photograph a variety of species including; egrets\, herons\, ibis\, terns\, plovers\, gallinules\, oystercatchers\, osprey\, pelicans\, wood storks\, roseate spoonbills\, ducks\, black skimmers and much more.\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic discussion each day.\nGeneral Itinerary:\nArrive March 20.
