SUMMARY:Online: Photograph What You Feel
DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Educator Don Toothaker for this online session discussing inspiration and how to think deeper about your photography.\nPhotography is a powerful form of art and self-expression. Our cameras\, lenses\, and editing software are tools that allow us to capture and create images that\, hopefully\, demonstrate how we feel about the world around us. To refine our creative voice\, we must first find our emotional voice. I believe we are not trying to take a photo of something; we are in fact trying to capture an image of how we feel about something. Pick up your camera and photograph what you feel.\nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information.\nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 90 minutes– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions\, but if not\, feel free to ask them at the end.\n?You Are Being Recorded? (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class! The video will be available for download about 24-hours after the class for all attendees\, so don?t worry about taking unending notes. We will send this link attendees to download and rewatch at any time. In addition to this\, we will generally send out a PDF of the presentation (when applicable) and handouts on the topic. If handouts and PDFs are included\, we will send it out with the link for the video.\nCan’t attend the class? \nIf you can’t attend the class but still want to download the video\, no problem: Just sign up for the class! You don’t need to attend and we will send the video and PDF link the next day!

SUMMARY:Online: Understanding Black & White Photography
DESCRIPTION:Black and white photography is not only alive and well in the digital age\, it is better than ever before. Personal growth in photography is rooted in the fundamentals of exposure and composition and no genre teaches you more about each than working in monochrome. How does one see and create images in black & white in the modern\, digital world?\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education’s Don Toothaker to learn\, understand\, and discuss the characteristics that make for a strong image in Monochrome. We will take you through the process of how to find images that are most suitable for monochrome (and those that are not). The goal of this class is to get you thinking as much as possible about how you can utilize black & white to further your photographic creativity and add it to your arsenal of imagery.\nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. The Faroe Islands are just a short flight from Iceland\, yet they?re way off the standard traveller?s radar. In this workshop\, we will focus on the landscape of the islands along with the magnificent Atlantic puffin that nests all over the island.\nOn the Faroe Islands Photography Workshop\, you are never more than 5km (3 miles) away from the ocean. The countryside is dominated by steep mountains\, where about 80\,000 sheep roam and some 2 million pairs of seabirds\, including puffins\, gannets and the largest colony of storm petrels in the world\, soar above. The Faroe Islands are undeniably beautiful? green\, rugged and wind-swept.\nYour trip includes: \n\nAll accommodations with private bathrooms during the workshop\nPricing is for double occupancy. Arrival in Faroe Islands\nArrival in the Faroe Islands and check into the airport hotel\, it?s in walking distance from the airport. A welcome dinner for the group to get to know each other.
