SUMMARY:Online: Personal Vision Series- Warmth
DESCRIPTION:Introductory Presentation Wednesday February 12th\, 7pm EST\nImage Review Tuesday February 25th\, 7pm EST \nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education as we help grow your knowledge\, creativity\, and artistic expression with our expanded Personal Vision Series. These classes are designed to provide you time\, opportunity\, and guidance in shaping your creative photographic voice. We will give an overview on a specific topic in an online class session\, then give you time to go into the field by yourself (or with someone else\, if you choose) to complete an assignment based on that topic. We will reconvene a few days later for an online image review to discuss elements of your images.\nThe Personal Vision Series is a crossroads of many different ideas that we offer with Hunt’s Photo Education: Topic-based instruction/classes\, Photo Walks\, & Image Reviews. However\, unlike a Photo Walk where we will all take a certain direction\, for the “Walk” portion\, you will be asked to journey out on your own to photograph. This will cause you to be the driving force of your creativity and vision!\nThis month’s topic is “Warmth”. We will have an instructional online presentation on the first date and will reconvene for our Image Review on the second date. You will have that time period in between to photograph and edit our assignment. Your personal creative voice is critical to your growth as a photographer and as an artist. Join us for to help grow that voice!

SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Winter at Olde Sturbridge Village
DESCRIPTION:Located an hour west of Boston\, Sturbridge Village is a proud replication of an 18th century New England town. Sturbridge Village is a living history museum that features many authentic period buildings and homes to explore and enjoy. The village is also inhabited by re-enactors who provide colorful insight to life in New England during the 18th century. Sturbridge Village is a wonderful destination for a multitude of photographic opportunities as well as a glimpse into a bygone era.\nOlde Sturbridge Village is perhaps one of the best places to have both a Photo Walk and a class. There’s a little bit of everything at this living history museum\, from macro and closeup with fine details to architecture\, from portraits to landscapes. We will photograph both indoors and outdoors\, in regular light as well as very low light. We will discuss how to work with subjects to create a story\, and also work on settings to fine-tune focus and exposure! This Photo Walk is one of the best opportunities to build your photographic knowledge\, no matter what level. This walk is equally as beneficial as a first walk or a twentieth walk\, as the area has so much to offer!\nJoin us for a great experience!\nPlease note: The cost of your ticket does NOT include the cost of your entrance into Olde Sturbridge Village\, which can be purchased here: https://www.osv.org/plan-your-visit/

SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: People at the MFA Boston
DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a photo walk in one of Boston’s treasures: the Museum of Fine Arts. Boasting dozens of current exhibits and over 450\,000 pieces of art the MFA is one of the largest museums in the country and in the world. \nOur emphasis on this workshop will be in the vein of street photography\, as we turn our emphasis towards people within the museum. We will discuss how to do this in a candid and natural way! \nPlease note: This ticket does not cover the cost of your entrance into the museum.\nAlso… Because tripods and monopods are not allowed\, we will maximize quality in low-light situations. Consider bringing a prime lens! \nRegarding Personal Photography at the MFA Boston:\nStill photography and video taken from a handheld device of objects in the permanent collection are permitted for personal\, nondistributional\, noncommercial use. Tripods and monopods are strictly not allowed. Please refrain from photography of loans and temporary exhibitions. Flashes\, selfie-sticks\, or video cameras in the galleries are prohibited. No photographs or videotapes may be reproduced\, published\, distributed\, sold\, transferred\, or otherwise commercially exploited without written permission from the MFA.
