Monday March 24th OR Tuesday March 25th\, 7pm EST \nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education as we help grow your knowledge\, creativity\, and artistic expression with our expanded Personal Vision Series. These classes are designed to provide you time\, opportunity\, and guidance in shaping your creative photographic voice. We will give an overview on a specific topic in an online class session\, then give you time to go into the field by yourself (or with someone else\, if you choose) to complete an assignment based on that topic. We will reconvene a few days later for an online image review to discuss elements of your images.\nThe Personal Vision Series is a crossroads of many different ideas that we offer with Hunt’s Photo Education: Topic-based instruction/classes\, Photo Walks\, & Image Reviews. However\, unlike a Photo Walk where we will all take a certain direction\, for the “Walk” portion\, you will be asked to journey out on your own to photograph. This will cause you to be the driving force of your creativity and vision!\nThis month’s topic is “One Subject\, Four Ways”. It is a good practice for photographers to thoroughly explore their subjects.  Varying light\, time of day\, weather\, lens selection\, color and tones\, and mood all change the appearance of your subject.  Explore one subject and create perspectives of it. \nWe will have an instructional online presentation on the first date and will reconvene for our Image Review on the second date. You will have that time period in between to photograph and edit our assignment. Your personal creative voice is critical to your growth as a photographer and as an artist. Join us for to help grow that voice!

SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Birding Along the Space Coast
DESCRIPTION:Florida is considered by many to be a mecca of bird photography.  In addition to the abundance of birdlife in the state\, the birds are quite approachable and easy to photograph. We will explore some prime birding locations\, including the famed Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and the Orlando Wetlands.  But in addition to these bird photography locations\, there are several other lesser-known\, nearby sites where the photography is simply spectacular.  This trip will occur at a time of year when many birds will be in breeding plumage (and exhibiting some breeding behavior).  You can expect to photograph a variety of species including; egrets\, herons\, ibis\, terns\, plovers\, gallinules\, oystercatchers\, osprey\, pelicans\, wood storks\, roseate spoonbills\, ducks\, black skimmers and much more. \nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic discussion each day. \nGeneral Itinerary:\nArrive March 10. Check into hotel in by 2pm. Meet\, Greet\, Sunset Shoot\nMarch 11\, 12\, 13\, 14 – Daily excursions to birding locations dependent upon light and weather\nLeave March 15. Flights should be scheduled for early to mid-afternoon.\nPlease note: Due to the variety of times attendees will be arriving\, we will be unable to pick up attendees from the airport\, which is about 45 minutes away. In the weeks leading up to this adventure\, we will try to connect attendees that may be arriving at similar times in order to share rides through car rental or taxi/Uber/Lyft. DESCRIPTION:Winter is often a difficult time of year for finding inspiration to get out and photograph.  One easy solution is to find an interior space to work in.  The other is to have a specific project to work on.  Combining access to an inspiring interior as well as a worthy project is just what the photographer ordered for a winter muse.  \nJoin us in Central Maine as we spend the weekend thoroughly exploring the interior of the South Solon Meeting House and other points of local interest.  Our primary goal will be to create an extensive body of work showcasing the historic meeting house in color\, monochrome\, and fine detail.  Join us!

DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for an evening walk at Nubble Light. On the walk\, we will photograph around Nubble Light leading up to the blue hour. This is an excellent opportunity to use Neutral Density or Circular Polarizing filters\, if you have any\, which will be discussed in relation to how they can enhance your scene.  Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.\nNubble Light is a premiere destination for photographers. The Lighthouse is a simple beauty to behold\, with solid and simple colors that photograph well\, but under different lighting conditions can create vibrant\, striking images.
