DESCRIPTION:Learning about photography can be a real challenge. There are so many pieces to the puzzle of photography\, some of which use confusing terminology. And while we also offer other wonderful Beginner Photography classes to get you started\, nothing is truly the same as hands-on in-the-field! It?s important to fully understand the ?why? and ?how? of your camera settings.\nIn this outdoor\, hands-on class\, you’ll learn all about the basics of photography. We will discuss Exposure (how light works with the camera)\, the Big Three Settings (Aperture\, Shutter Speed\, & ISO)\, how they affect your picture and how to set them\, and what mode to set it to on your camera! We’ll discuss changing depth-of-field (controlling what?s in focus in the background)\, stopping or blurring the action in your scene\, and many other basic picture-taking techniques. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about your camera in a fun and safe environment! Join us to strengthen your photographic knowledge!\nIn this session of Beginner Photography in the Field…\n…we will be going to the Roger Williams Park in Providence. The Roger Williams Park is a massive area of greenery and beauty in Providence with a Rose Garden\, Japanese Garden\, beautifully constructed buildings\, such as the gazebo\, peaceful waterways\, quaint bridges\, and so much more! There is so much to photograph there and a wonderful variety of subject matter\, including textures\, angles\, and compositions that can lead to some truly excellent photographs. It’s the perfect place to learn about photography! Bring your camera and your enthusiasm to learn all about photography in a hands-on\, real-life environment!

In these classes\, we will give an overview on a specific topic in an online class session\, then give you time to go into the field to complete an assignment based on that topic. We will reconvene a few days later for an online image review to discuss elements of your images.\nIn this month?s topic\, we’ll discuss HDR: How to effectively shoot HDR in the field\, process it\, and then create a final image. North Conway\, NH\n Image Review: Tuesday July 11th\, 7pm ??Online!\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education for a day photographing in and around North Conway in Central New Hampshire! This workshop will feature waterfalls\, landscapes\, street photography\, and lots of story telling.  Photographers of all levels are welcome!\nWe will start photographing at Diana?s Baths in North Conway in the morning to work with filters and waterfalls\, then continue along to Echo Lake for landscapes and natural details. We will take a break for lunch in town\, then continue with street photography and storytelling along the main drag in town. We will end the day exploring the rail yard.\nAfter the workshop\, we will reconvene for an image review\, where we will discuss a small handful of your images!

We’ll discuss changing depth-of-field (controlling what?s in focus in the background\, stopping or blurring the action in your scene\, and many other basic picture-taking techniques. We recommend taking this class prior to Digital Photography Basics 2\, which is the next logical step!\nJoin us to start learning about Digital Photography!\nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Bottom Line: Great class for confused beginners.?\n?Everything about this class was excellent. The instructors were patient and took time to answer every question thoroughly and we were given ample time to try out the techniques we were being shown. All in all\, a wonderful experience.?\n?Very much liked the instructors- knowledgeable\, entertaining\, encouraging\, not judgmental. Loved the casual nature of the class and opportunity for one-on-one discussions. Excellent for me\, as a novice.?
