Harness your creative power with?photography!\nThis is the essential class for anyone looking to take that first giant step into the world of photography! Our patient and entertaining instructors will cover all the basics in this hands-on class\, including changing depth-of-field (controlling what?s in focus in the background)\, stopping or blurring the action in your scene\, and many other basic picture-taking techniques.\nOur two guarantees:\n?You will learn a lot!\n?You will have a fun time doing it!\nSome character references: \n\n?I was impressed with how well the class was run\, the amount of material covered so thoroughly and how all different camera types were incorporated without it causing issues. I was really impressed with the whole experience. Great instructors!!?\n?Everything was condensed and taught at a basic level which helped with the confusion I had before coming to class. Bottom Line: Great class for confused beginners.?\n?Everything about this class was excellent. The instructors were patient and took time to answer every question thoroughly and we were given ample time to try out the techniques we were being shown. All in all\, a wonderful experience.?\n?Very much liked the instructors- knowledgeable\, entertaining\, encouraging\, not judgmental. Loved the casual nature of the class and opportunity for one-on-one discussions. Excellent for me\, as a novice.?

DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education as we discuss all the key elements of loading and developing film\, and get you to develop a roll on your own! In this workshop\, we will show you how to load film into a developing tank\, discuss the elements of the chemistry involved\, and other various aspects. Because of the many variables\, we will only be using one specific type of developer\, but we will discuss the possibilities of other developers available and their advantages.\nWe will provide tanks\, reels\, chemistry\, and basically anything that you need to develop your film. All you will need to have is a roll of film to develop. Important: Make sure the roll of film is black & white and not C-41.\nPlease note: Since your film will be wet at the end of the session\, you will leave it to dry and pick it up at a later time.

In our Hunt’s Melrose store or Online!\nAbout The Printed Vision Series\nThe printed image shows our successes and our faults at a much higher level of detail than the digital image. To become better photographers\, it helps to understand this by creating the printed image as a final product\, which is the purpose behind the Printed Vision Series.\nIn this session… Editing for the Final Print\nLet’s be honest- everyone loves their photos on their phones or the back of their cameras\, right? But then when it gets onto your computer screen\, it doesn’t look as good. It can be even more challenging to make your photo look good in print form\, let alone a large print!\nIn this session\, we’ll go over all the fine points in editing to get your image “Print Ready”. In addition to that\, we’ll discuss how paper type affects mood and what papers there are out there to influence your vision! We’ll also take one of your images and print it in a size up to 13×19″ on Fine Art paper.  (Please note: The cost of a 12?18 or 13?19 print on fine art paper is $35-$40; the cost of this class includes the cost of that print! If you want to make TWO prints\, the additional cost would be $40/print.)\nJoin us for a fun class on Editing and Printing!\nReceiving Your Print\nAfter the class\, your print can either be mailed to you or picked up at one of our Hunt’s Photo store locations.\nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 24 hours prior to the class time with that same information.\n?You Are Being Recorded? (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class! The video will be available for download about 24-hours after the class for all attendees\, so don?t worry about taking unending notes.
