On this walk\, we will emphasize working in morning light\, with an emphasis on settings and techniques for subject development\, black and white photography\, composition and more. The morning light in and around the Gardens is distinctively different than in the evening\, and equally as beautiful. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend!

SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: The Longfellow Bridge and Views of Boston
DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a night photo walk featuring the Longfellow Bridge. During the walk\, we will discuss many of the aspects of photographing in low-light and at night\, including exposure\, focusing\, composition\, and more. Photographers of all levels are welcome!\nThe Longfellow Bridge\, sometimes referred to as the ?salt and pepper bridge? due to the shaker-like shape of the bridge?s pillars\, connects Boston?s Beacon Hill district with Kendall Square in Cambridge. The bridge has stood for over a century\, with major upgrades and renovations only occurring in the early 2010s. In late 2018\, the bridge was enhanced with new LED lighting\, bringing stunning new views to this unique structure. On this walk\, we will spend time photographing the Longfellow Bridge and Boston from numerous angles\, making use of evening light\, civil twilight\, and night time.

DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a unique\, fun\, and picturesque Photo Walk involving creating long exposure light trails from spinning wool! Spinning wool to create sparks is a fun (and fairly easy) exercise\, but requires a bit of explanation and some safety tips. Hunt’s Photo Educator Ron Phillips will be giving a lesson in how to spin wool and will discuss everything from safety precautions\, execution on how to spin for greater effect\, and how to integrate it with your camera in long exposures. A tripod is required for this walk.

The Lighthouse is a simple beauty to behold\, with solid and simple colors that photograph well\, but under different lighting conditions can create vibrant\, striking images.
