SUMMARY:Wedding Photography Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by SIGMA lenses and in conjunction with the Larz Anderson Auto Museum\nHunt’s Photo Education proudly presents our first Wedding Photography Workshop! The centerpiece of this workshop will be a full-day\, hands-on\, stylized/mock wedding shoot at the beautiful and historic Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Photographers will be led by Rebecca Wade\, a local wedding photographer who has photographed well over 100 weddings over the past five years\, along with wedding photographer Tessa Klingensmith. Attendees will learn everything from the proper equipment and technical skills to navigate a wedding day successfully. In addition\, photographers will learn the importance of client communication\, marketing strategy\, and the back end of running a wedding photography business.\nAnyone that registers for this workshop will also be able to attend our 2-part online Wedding Photography class sessions for no additional charge! These classes will not only provide a substantial background for our workshop\, but also help build more of an understanding of what goes into each wedding!\nWho Should Register\nThis workshop is an excellent opportunity for photographers that are looking to start out in wedding photography\, as well as photographers that have a few weddings under their belt and are looking to get more focused information. This workshop is at an intermediate level and photographers should have a working knowledge of their camera as well as an understanding of exposure\, aperture\, shutter speed\, and ISO.\nDetails About the Stylized\, Mock Shoot\nWe will provide all of the basics elements of the wedding-day experience\, including the bride and groom\, the cake\, the floral arrangements\, the venue\, the tux and the gown!\nLens support from SIGMA\nOur friends at SIGMA lenses will also be providing lenses that you will be able to use for the day\, including select low-aperture zooms and stunning prime lenses that will enhance your shooting experience!\nAbout the Larz Anderson Auto Museum\nJust ten minutes from downtown Boston and nestled inside the 64 beautiful acres of Larz Anderson Park\, the Larz Anders Auto Museum is home to ?America?s Oldest Car Collection?. On this workshop\, we will have exclusive access to The Carriage House\, a landmark within the community built in 1888 and designed by the city architect of Boston. SUMMARY:Flash! Speedlights 101- Hunt's Photo\, Melrose
DESCRIPTION:This class is all about two things: Learning how to use the basics of your flash on the camera and how (and why) to take the flash off the camera.\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Educator Rebecca Wade as we discuss how to take pictures using a speedlight\, and make them look great\, no matter what the situation. We will discuss photographing people\, but also photographing product and how flashes work. We’ll talk all about the basics\, including modes\, settings\, and more!\nWhether you own a flash and have no idea how to use it\, you want to take great photos at functions and family events that are in low light\, or you just want to learn how to add a flash into your repertoire\, this course is for you!
