DESCRIPTION:April 13th\, 7pm ??Online ? Understanding Black & White\nApril 14th\, 7pm ??Online ? Editing in Black & White\nApril 15th\, 5-8pm ? Black & White Photo Walk in Rockport\nApril 20th\, 7pm ??Online ? Black & White Image Review\nHow does one see and create images in black & white in the modern\, digital world? This is a question that we have brought up many times in the past\, but during this multi-session class\, we will be able to explore many different elements of black and white photography from how to choose a suitable black and white subject to how to process an image effectively.\nFor this course\, we’ll start with an introduction to black & white photography in the first session (April 13th)\, discussing the basics of what makes a good black and white images. We’ll then continue the following night on the editing essentials of black and white using Adobe Lightroom Classic (April 14th). We will put into practice these skills the following day\, as we hold a Black and White-only Photo Walk in Rockport\, Massachusetts (April 15th).  In our final session\, we will have a full image critique of three images created during the walk to Rockport (April 20th).\nThis is a unique chance to really dig in and work in black & white!\nPhotographers should have an understanding of exposure before taking this class.
