DESCRIPTION:Come to the darker side of portraiture as Jeremy shows you how to bring a concept to life and get incredible\, dark\, surreal images in camera using various LED lighting\, props\, and practical effects. Jeremy Saffer will emphasize Beauty and Darkness with a variety of goth musicians and models\, showing different lighting and practical effect techniques as well as posing and directing to bring out the unique look of each artist while enhancing the overall concept. Afterward\, attendees take over and photograph the special guests using a variety of lighting and set ups\, props\, fog\, and everything they’ve learned from the day!\n\nTOPICS COVERED\n• How to capture dark and fantasy portraiture\n• Creating the concept from imagination to fruition.\n• Introduction to LED- Slideshow of LED usages; LED application; Slideshow of BTS/final images/editorial/covers with spec breakdowns of LED settings\n• LED Color Blending/Temperature- Reviewing color temperature theory/cold tone\, warm tone\, CTO; Reviewing color blending theory (mixing color); Show various LED lights and their effects and usages\n• Camera Prep- A walk through of what cameras/lenses I will be using; Students prep their cameras/provided cameras prepped\n• Studio build- Visual demo of turning classroom into a working studio with a full gear set up\, and a break down of the gear/equipment\n\nSCHEDULE\n\n10:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m.\n10:00 a.m. – Intro – LED lighting instructions\n10:30 a.m. – Lighting examples/photo breakdowns\n11:00 a.m. – Studio set up/hands on demo\n12:00 p.m. – break for lunch\n12:30 p.m. – students shoot guests\n6:00 p.m. – Wrap up/final band QnA/feedback\n\n\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND?\nAnyone with an interest in portrait photography and lighting will gain much from this program. SUMMARY:LED Lighting for Cosplay\, Advanced Photoshoot with Jeremy Saffer
DESCRIPTION:Join Jeremy Saffer in a very special advanced group shoot working where YOU take over the lighting\, set\, subjects\, and do your own shoot (multiple set ups/shoots with extended shoot times)\, Jeremy is on hand for guidance\, advice\, and support. This is a unique opportunity to use a variety of different lighting with some incredible subjects to create incredible looks in a studio setting. You choose the level of assistance you need from Jeremy\, fully hands on setting up lights/running the set for you to 100% hands off\, leaving it entirely up to you and everything in between. – a follow up image review and feedback session will take place over zoom. As mentioned in the title\, our models will be emphasizing a Cosplay look\, which is a great addition to anyone’s portfolio!\n\nGENERAL SCHEDULE: \nOur general schedule will be that we’ll do a brief introduction and setup\, then dive right into setting up lights and shooting. This will be a big day of SHOOTING!\n\n\n\n\nWho Should Take This Workshop?\nDays 2 and 3 of Jeremy’s workshops will consist primarily of photographers building lighting scenes and shooting. If you have taken any of Jeremy’s past classes on LED Lighting\, that should give you enough background to take this class. If you have not taken any of Jeremy’s classes in the past\, we recommend starting by taking Day 1 as well! (The three day option below will be best!)\n\nWhat Gear Will We Learn?\nWe will be using Nanlite Tubes\, COB LED Lighting\, light modifiers and more.
