SUMMARY:Online: Multi-Session Series- Video Basics
DESCRIPTION:Please note: This is a 2-part class that will meet on the dates listed above\nPhotographers everywhere love that digital cameras have the capability of creating “videos”. But what important settings are there? How can I take full advantage of my camera that has 4K 60fps\, and what am I even saying when I say those words??? I just want to make a great video- what do I need to know?!\nWell\, fret no more! Video Basics is geared for photographers that want to use their camera for occasional videos! This is the class that is going to give you insight into the basic settings and why to set them; how to take full advantage of the best qualities of your camera\, and leaves a lot of the higher-end technical stuff out of the picture.\nIn this jam-packed course\, we’ll cover basic camera settings (some of which you’re used to from still photography); basic menu settings such as frame rates\, resolution\, and codecs; framing\, composition\, and cinematography basics. The goal of this course is to send you on your way much more confident about how to set up your next video.\nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information.\nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. If for some reason you cannot attend one of the sessions\, don’t worry! They will be recorded and you will be able to watch them at your leisure! During each class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Question box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions\, but if not\, feel free to ask them at the end.\n?You Are Being Recorded? (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class! The video will be available for download about 24-hours after the class for all attendees\, so don?t worry about taking unending notes. We will send this link attendees to download and rewatch at any time. In addition to this\, we will generally send out a PDF of the presentation (when applicable) and handouts on the topic. If handouts and PDFs are included\, we will send it out with the link for the video.\nNo online classes should be shared and cannot be shared in a public environment\, including with camera clubs\nThe online content is the copyright of Hunt’s Photo Education and/or the Instructor. Please support our education team and instructors by not sharing this material! We appreciate your support\, and it’s thanks to that support that we are able to continue producing content!

Have you been stuck creatively with your photography? If you’ve always wanted to get better results with your lighting but were fearful of the process then join JC Carey as he demystifies lighting into the simplest steps possible so that anyone with a basic understanding of camera functions can start producing more dynamic images immediately. DESCRIPTION:Join professional nature photographer\, Roman Kurywczak\, as he shares with you all of his technical tips and tricks needed to take your closeup photography to the next level without having to rely on a tripod. Overcoming distracting backgrounds will be discussed in depth with photographic examples showing you how easy they are to handle. The key to Roman?s success is using flash correctly to properly balance any exposure and achieve dramatic results. \nRoman will explain some tricks frequently used by the pros so that you can easily apply them in the field or studio to quickly improve your closeup skills. Many of these tips and tricks are inexpensive and can be done using the gear you already own. During the entire lecture you can ask questions to ensure that you go home with a better understanding of all the topics covered in the program and create tack sharp images of your very own.

SUMMARY:Hunt's Show Virtual Seminars: Storytelling in Bird/Wildlife Photography with Tobias Yoder (Online Only!)
DESCRIPTION:How gaining inspiration from different genres of photography has allowed for the progression of my wildlife photography. SUMMARY:Hunt's Show Virtual Seminars: Hands On Macro with Emilie Talpin (Online Only!)
DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on workshop\, Emilie Talpin\, OM SYSTEM Ambassador\, will guide you through macro techniques to get sharper images and help you set up your shots. This workshop will start with a brief presentation on macro photography\, camera settings and techniques as well as composition tips and light diffusion. This workshop is open to all levels (beginner to advanced). You will be able to play with different subjects like flowers\, refractions\, small objects and navigate through the various tables set up to try different genres.\nBio:\nEmilie Talpin is an OM-SYSTEM (Olympus) ambassador\, who grew up in Chalon sur Sa?ne\, France\, the birthplace of Nic?phore Ni?pce and the first photograph. Despite this background\, she got into photography very late and in 2018 joined a local camera club where she met a group of talented photographers and was inspired to dive deeper into the art of capturing moments in time. Now\, everywhere she goes\, it is with her trusted OM-1 camera by her side. Lately\, she has been concentrating on wildlife and macro photography\, in particular water drop refraction\, but will occasionally stray with friends to an astro or landscape photoshoot. As a French teacher\, she is inherently eager to learn and try new material; a practice also applied outside the classroom as she explores the world around her and chases her next photo.\nRegister below\nNote: If the below registration window does not appear\, you can also register at this link.
