Too often we feel that our photography comes to a halt during inclement weather. However, there is ample opportunity to make use of our creativity while staying indoors. Many household items, cut flowers, books, antiques, jewelry, and glassware all make for wonderful subjects while using natural window light. Every table in your house can become a landscape of opportunity with some imagination and creativity.
In this tabletop workshop, we’ll focus on sweets and treats, creating stunning close-up images candy, desserts, and other delectable delights. We will spend the day creating a variety of tabletop setups to photograph in interesting ways. We’ll show how to light the setups, using various LED lighting, speed lights, reflectors, and softboxes to create different types of scenes. If you’re trying to stay away from sweets as your New Year’s Resolution, why not photograph them instead??
