In this session, I’ll go over everything. Starting with personal gear because you can’t be creative if you’re cold and uncomfortable. Then we get into the camera equipment, batteries, lens, covers, and pack it all uphill. We’ll go over weather apps quickly and other resources that can help with local forecasts in the White Mountains, one of those being avalanche conditions. All that taken care of we can get into the creative side of being on Mount Washington in Winter. We’ll talk about action sports, skiing, and ice climbing as well as the challenges of getting to the right place at the right time. We’ll go over shooting landscape images in snow and bright light conditions, how to get those details in the snow, and how to make the most of your day or night in the mountains.
