COVID-19 Policies for outdoor Hunt’s Photo Walks and Workshops
Face masks are not required for our outdoor Photo Walks. We ask that you maintain social distance whenever possible.
As always, if you are sick or feeling unwell, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future walk.
Mt. Auburn Cemetery is one of Boston?s most beautiful green spaces. This large, rolling parcel of land was America?s first garden-style cemetery. The historical 174-acre cemetery serves as a final resting place for the deceased, but it is also an arboretum full of flowers, flowering trees, colorful shrubs, architecture, and wildlife.
On this Photo Walk, we will specifically photograph the birds (and wildlife) in the cemetery! Because the grounds are filled with birds and other little critters, it’s a great chance to work on the myriad elements that go into photographing them, such as focusing, exposure, composition and more. Long telephoto lenses are strongly recommended for this walk, and keep in mind that if you don’t have one, you can always rent one from Hunt’s Photo Rentals!
