Bio
Kelly Rae Daugherty took a 101-film photography class with Henry Wessel Jr. at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2006. She worked with him exclusively for the next two years where she concentrated on street photography
around San Francisco, which became fifteen years of photo work documenting the city. Around 2011, Kelly was able to find an art studio on Nob Hill. She taught herself lighting and set-up stages which her models (and at times she) would pose to create pictorial stories. Currently, she is back on the streets in Portland; arriving full circle, she is back to creating street photography. She works with digital and film both medium format and 35mm.
