- A Macro lens will be your best lens of choice for this workshop. Remember, we have a rental department at rentals.huntsphoto.com
- Alternatively, you could consider a prime lens (ex 50mm) or a long telephoto zoom lens, but macro is still best
- Macro filters or extension tubes could also work
- We will be bringing lots of flowers to photograph for this workshop. However, feel free to bring your own!
- Make sure to bring your tripod with a quick release plate and a shutter release, if you have one.
- Feel free to bring snacks and water
- Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
- As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!

Come learn about lighting, composing, and setting up to photograph some beautiful flowers!
In this dual macro/still life class, we’ll spend our day creating a variety of still life set ups, unique macro scenarios, different lighting techniques, compositions, and more with flowers! We will cover exposure, composition, how to use macro lenses and extension tubes, how to set up lighting, how to use light modifiers and more!
We will be bringing lots of flowers to photograph for this workshop. However, you are also welcome to bring your own!
