Join us for an unforgettable ten-day photography workshop in the stunning landscapes of southern France, led by photographer and instructor Jeff Swinger and local expert guide Patrice Aguilar! This specialized adventure will immerse you in the beauty of the region as you capture the iconic White Horses of Camargue, vibrant Pink Flamingos, and breathtaking lavender fields in Provence. Full Workshop Itinerary

• Day 1- Saturday June 21^st –  Arrival at Marseille Provence Airport (MRS), airport pickup to hotel in Provence.

• Day 2- Sunday June 22^nd  – Morning shoot at Senanque abbey (surrounded by lavender fields), then Gordes. Lunch in the village of Gordes. Afternoon shoot in the lavender fields

• Day 3- Monday June 23^rd – Morning shoot in the lavender fields. Lunch in the village of Fontaine de Vaucluse. Afternoon shoot at the 2000 years old roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard

• Day 4- Tuesday June 24^th – Morning shoot at the village of Roussillon. Lunch in the town of Apt. Afternoon shoot in the lavender fields

• Day 5- Wednesday June 25^th – Check out hotel and drive to Camargue. Lunch in the town of Les Saintes Maries de la mer. Check in hotel. Evening session with the Camargue horses

• Day 6- Thursday June 26^th – Morning shoot with the Camargue horses. Lunch in the roman city of Arles. Evening shoot at the birds park (flamingos)

• Day 7- Friday June 27^th – Morning shoot with the Camargue horses. Lunch in the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence. Evening shoot with the black bulls

• Day 8- Saturday June 28^th – Morning shoot with the Camargue horses. Lunch in the town of Les Saintes Maries de la mer. Evening shoot with the Camargue horses

• Day 9- Sunday June 29^th – Morning shoot with the Black bulls. Lunch in the city of Avignon. Evening shoot at the birds park

• Day 10- Monday June 30^th – Morning shoot with the Camargue horses. Check out hotel. Drive to airport for departure at any time

What’s included in the workshop:

• All on-site transportation

Skill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome
Physical Activity: Medium. We will be walking and touring towns and villages. We will have to walk to the sites for the horses, bulls, flamingos, and lavender fields. This will not be strenuous, just uneven and wet areas. We will also be wearing waders to photograph the horses (provided).

• Tripod
• Cable release
• Polarizers and Neutral Density filters if you have them

Travel information
You need to fly into Marseille Provence Airport (MRS). There will be a bulk pickup of attendees at the airport. If you choose to arrive earlier or stay later, you will need to make your own arrangements for transportation into Provence.

Hotel information
All hotels have been secured for you during the workshop. Due to the sensitive nature of this workshop and the difficulty of securing accommodations, we will not be detailing our itinerary or accommodations to anyone who is not attending this workshop.  All accommodations in Camargue and Provence are 3-star hotels.

Payments
A non-refundable reservation fee of $1750 is required upon sign-up to secure a spot. The total cost of the trip is $6995 per person for double occupancy.  (For single supplement, please add $900.) Please note that the reservation fee and payments on this workshop is non-refundable. Please make sure to purchase insurance in case you need to cancel your trip. (You can purchase trip insurance from numerous insurance companies– Allianz, AAA, and more.)
The remaining balance is due 120-days (4 months) prior to the workshop and can be made on this page.
