What to Bring:
  • Make sure to dress accordingly with the most current weather report.
  • Wear good walking shoes!
  • Consider bringing a standard zoom lenses, but a macro lens is recommended!
  • You’re welcome to bring a longer telephoto lens, but make sure to only bring what you want to carry
  • Small to medium Diffusers or reflectors will help
  • Make sure to bring your tripod with a quick release, and a shutter release if you have one.
  • Something to kneel or sit on is recommended
  • Feel free to bring snacks and water.
  • Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
  • As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy – Classes / Walks / Workshops

For classes, walks, & workshops, cancellations and postponement can be made up to 48-hours prior to the scheduled time. Refunds cannot be granted for cancellations placed less than 48-hours before a class or walk, but you can receive a 75% credit toward a future class, walk, or workshop.

For all cancellations, you must contact classes@huntsphoto.com prior to the event. If you register for a class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited..

Join Hunt’s Photo Education on a photo walk where we will emphasize macro photography in the downtown Portsmouth area. This could include flowers and plants, but could also include bugs, insects, and statues. We will review macro techniques in the field, including focus, depth of field, focus bracketing/stacking, exposure, composition, and more. Recommended gear for this walk includes a macro lens, tripod, remote, a diffuser/reflector, and a kneeling pad or stool. Join us for a fun morning of macro!
