Travel information
We will be meeting at the hotel at 3pm on the first day of the workshop. Transportation to and from Lubec, Maine and the hotel (including flights) is not included, but all on-site transportation once at the hotel is included.

We will be staying at the Inn on the Wharf, 69 Johnson St, Lubec ME, 207-733-4400. Please note: Your rooms are NOT included in the cost of your ticket, but we have rooms set aside. Tucked into the far northeast corner of Maine is the fishing village of Lubec. Once a thriving fishing community, Lubec is now a quiet coastal town surrounded by the remnants of their fishing legacy and the rugged, sprawling Bold Coast. Lubec features West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, rustic fishing harbors, and many photographic opportunities along the coast. If weather allows, we will spend TWO days observing and photographing the rare Atlantic Puffin offshore on nearby Machias Seal Island.
Regarding Passports: We may go onto Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada, if conditions allow. However, at the current time, travel between the United States and Canada is restricted. Please ready your passports in case the ability comes available.
We will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction, critiques, and photographic assignments each day.

?If weather allows, two boat trips to Machias Seal Island to photograph Puffins- only 15 Americans are allowed on the island per day!

Physical Activity: Low to Medium. We will have long days with sunrises and sunsets as well as a lot of walking.
