Online: Personal Vision Series- Serendipity

Introductory Presentation Wednesday October 14th, 7pm EST
Image Review – Wednesday October 28th, 7pm EST

Join Hunt’s Photo Education as we help grow your knowledge, creativity, and artistic expression with our expanded Personal Vision Series. These classes are designed to provide you time, opportunity, and guidance in shaping your creative photographic voice. We will give an overview on a specific topic in an online class session, then give you time to go into the field by yourself (or with someone else, if you choose) to complete an assignment based on that topic. We will reconvene a few days later for an online image review to discuss elements of your images.
The Personal Vision Series is a crossroads of many different ideas that we offer with Hunt’s Photo Education: Topic-based instruction/classes, Photo Walks, & Image Reviews. However, unlike a Photo Walk where we will all take a certain direction, for the “Walk” portion, you will be asked to journey out on your own to photograph.

This will cause you to be the driving force of your creativity and vision! This month’s topic is “Serendipity“. As photographers, we often organize our creative time purposefully.  Striving for success, we research various locations and appealing subjects we might find there.  We evaluate time and light to decide when and where our creative vision will work best.   However, by planning so carefully, we risk overlooking one of the greatest joys of photography; serendipity.  This Personal Vision Series will encourage attendees to leave the house, camera in hand for a ride or walk, and enjoy the benefits of discovery.

We will have an instructional online presentation on the first date and will reconvene for our Image Review on the second date. You will have that time period in between to photograph and edit our assignment. Your personal creative voice is critical to your growth as a photographer and as an artist. Join us for to help grow that voice!
