What to Bring:
  • Bring your camera, a fully charged battery, and a memory card
  • It’s recommended to bring a lens in the 400-600mm range. If you don’t have one, a Tamron representative will be on-hand providing free loaner lenses should you need one. PLEASE NOTE: Roman is teaching handheld. DO NOT BRING A TRIPOD OR MONOPOD AS THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE ZOO.
  • The walking trails are pretty even, but this is an outdoor event so take adequate precautions and wear comfortable shoes.

Come join professional nature photographer, Roman Kurywczak, as he leads you on a photo experience through the Stone Zoo, sponsored by Tamron Lenses and Hunt’s Photo.
In this experience, Roman will cover topics such as proper camera settings for changing lighting conditions, capturing moving animals, composition, lens selection, and much more. A basic knowledge of changing your camera f/stop, shutter speed, & ISO, is encouraged, but all levels of experience are welcome. A lens in the 400-600mm range is recommended for this photo walk, and a Tamron representative will be on-hand providing free loaner lenses should you need one? or wish to try out an alternative to what you already own!
