- Any roll of unprocessed film will work! (Please: One roll per person.)
- You’re welcome to bring a processing tank, if you have one. (Just make sure it’s clean!)
You technically do NOT need to bring in any film to take this class, as we can walk through the process without film. However, unprocessed film is encouraged.
Refund Policy – Classes / Walks / Workshops
For classes, walks, & workshops, cancellations and postponement can be made up to 48-hours prior to the scheduled time. Refunds cannot be granted for cancellations placed less than 72-hours/3-days before a class or walk, but you can receive a 75% credit toward a future class, walk, or workshop.
For all cancellations, you must contact classes@huntsphoto.com prior to the event. If you register for a class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited..
Film developing is one of the forgotten presents of photography. There was a sense of excitement that occurred when you finished a roll of film, put it onto a reel and into a processing tank, added and dumped chemistry, then opened the tank to reveal the fully processed film.
Come relive that joy in this brief class and develop a roll of film! We will cover all the basics- how to load the film onto reels, what chemistry and gear to use, and more. Chemistry and tanks will be provided, but you will also have the opportunity to purchase your own, if you choose. You are welcome to bring in black & white, C-41 (color), or E-6 (slide) film; 35mm or 120. (Please specify film type upon registration. One roll per person.)
Please note: Film will need to dry for 6 hours prior to you being able to take it with you. You are welcome to leave the film overnight.
