Adobe Lightroom Classic is a terrific program for editing, for both the basics and the more advanced editors. However, in 2022, Adobe offered a major overhaul in Lightroom with brushes, masks, local adjustments, and noise reduction. In this Lightroom class, we will go deeper into the develop module and give you an in-depth guide to these new adjustments using brushes, masks, and noise reduction, as well as some “tried and true” techniques that go beyond the basics.
This course will focus heavily on localized adjustments and cover the following topics:
• Cloning vs Healing vs Generative AI
• Object Selection vs Brush tool
• Graduated and Radial filters
• Content Aware Masking (Subject, Sky, Background)
• Color and Luminance Range Masking
•Fine-Tuning color Adjustment
•Noise Reduction
…And more!

Please note: This course is “Advanced Editing”, so you should be familiar with many of the basics of file management and adjustments. You don’t need to be an expert, but this shouldn’t be the first course you take on Lightroom!

An important note about this course! There are now a few different versions of Adobe Lightroom right now. This course is specifically on Adobe Lightroom Classic. The other version of Lightroom, commonly known as “Adobe Lightroom CC” (yes, we understand you may be confused by this) is a more mobile and cloud-based program. The look and feel of the program is completely different– This course is specifically on Adobe Lightroom Classic. (See graphic on the right.) If you are unsure, feel free to email us at classes@huntsphoto.com. Important: If you are taking this course, make sure to download/update the program in advance, as you will not be able to download the program at the store.

Curious which Adobe plan to get? We recommend the 20GB Photography Plan, detailed in the screenshot on the left. You can find it here!
