Canon Clean & Check

On July 25th, Canon users will have the opportunity to have their equipment serviced by Canon Factory Trained Technicians, using state-of-the-art technology, to help ensure continued optimal image quality. You must register in advance to reserve your spot!
Please read the following before signing up:
* The Canon Clean & Check is only for Canon-branded items
* ONLY 1 Canon Item per customer. This can be a camera body or a lens.
* Canon will perform a 7-point camera inspection or 11-point lens inspection. See below for details.
* Canon will only be able to perform minor repairs, replacing of external parts like rubber ring mount, screws, etc.

What is included in the Canon 7-point camera inspection?
-Clean Image Sensor
-Clean Mirror
-Clean Focusing Screen
-Clean External Viewfinder
-Clean External LCD Surfaces
-Clean Camera Body
-Verify Firmware Version & Update (if applicable)

What is included in the Canon 11-point lens inspection?
-Clean External Lens Optics
-Clean External Lens Body
-Check Lens Attachment and Removal
-Check Camera/Lens Communication
-Check External Lens Barrel
-Check Operation of Focus Ring, Zoom Ring, Iris Ring
-Check Operation of Tripod Collar (if applicable)
-Check Aperture Function
-Perform Image Test (Check Aperture & Shutter Speed)
