We will be meeting at the hotel at 3pm on the first day of the workshop. Transportation to and from Bar Harbor, Maine and the hotel (including flights) is not included, but all on-site transportation once at the hotel is included.

Acadia National Park is a unique photographic destination unlike any other. Highly photogenic in every aspect, Acadia offers photographers of every skill level a multiple of opportunities. Here you can shoot miles of dramatic coastline, crashing waves, mountain and ocean vistas, culturally rich towns, classic New England harbor scenes, historic carriage roads, wildflowers, wildlife, a stunning lighthouse, and so much more. Join us as we explore the island and reveal its unique diversity in locations such as Bass Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Jordan Pond, the Seawall, Schoodic Peninsula, and more. Each day we will work on concepts of Subject Development, Exposure, Image Composition, Architectural Photography, Black and White Photography, Low Light Photography, and Long Exposures. Acadia is a breathtaking visual experience that will stay with you forever.
We will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction, critiques, and image review during the workshop. Once on location we will utilize local transportation to and from each destination.

Physical Activity: Medium. We will experience longer days as well as walking/scrambling over rocky terrain.
