Working Knowledge of your Camera; You should have good understanding of their cameras autofocus and how to control it

Travel information
We will be meeting at the hotel at 3pm on the first day of the workshop. Transportation to and from Lubec, Maine and the hotel (including flights) is not included, but all on-site transportation once at the hotel is included.

We will be staying at the Inn on the Wharf, 69 Johnson St, Lubec ME, 207-733-4400. Please note: Your rooms are NOT included in the cost of your ticket, but we have rooms set aside. After booking with us, make sure to call to put your name on one of those rooms. We are listed as the Hunt’s Photo Group.

Refund Policy – Adventures

For most Photo Adventures, a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the workshop is required to hold a spot. Please note: Deposits are non-refundable, but you can receive a 50% credit toward a future adventure. Within 45-days, all payments are non-transferable.
For Photo Adventures under $1,000, we may only have the total cost payment option. In this case, 25% is non-refundable.
For national adventures (excluding Alaska), final payments are due one month prior to the start of the workshop.
For international adventures (and Alaska), final payments are due 90-days prior to the start of the workshop. We strongly encourage travel insurance!

Tucked into the far northeast corner of Maine is the fishing village of Lubec. Once a thriving fishing community, Lubec is now a quiet coastal town surrounded by the remnants of their fishing legacy and the rugged, sprawling Bold Coast. Lubec features West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, rustic fishing harbors, and many photographic opportunities along the coast. If weather allows, we will spend TWO days observing and photographing the rare Atlantic Puffin offshore on nearby Machias Seal Island.

Your passport will be required on this workshop in order to go onto Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada, if conditions allow.

We will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction, critiques, and photographic assignments each day.

What’s included:
•Daily excursions in and around Lubec
•If weather allows, two boat trips to Machias Seal Island to photograph Puffins- only 15 Americans are allowed on the island per day!

Physical Activity: Low to Medium. We will have long days with sunrises and sunsets as well as a lot of walking.

A 25% deposit is required upon sign-up to secure a spot. All payments are due 30 days prior to the workshop.
