Photographing Yellowstone National Park during the winter is a memorable and rewarding experience for every photographer. January, with its snow and cold temperatures, transforms America’s first national park into a wondrous land full of unique photographic opportunities for wildlife and landscapes.  During the week, we will explore the park in two parts.  Our goal is to photograph species such as Wolves, Bison, Coyotes, Fox, Elk, Eagles, Antelopes, Deer, and more.  The first half of the trip will be spent exploring the northern section of the park. Each day, we will travel the Lamar Valley Road in search of wildlife to photograph.  Whenever possible, we will also photograph scenic landscapes.  After relocating to West Yellowstone, Montana, the second half of our trip will consist of exploring the closed interior of West Yellowstone by snow coach.  Each day, we will depart from our hotel in West Yellowstone, Montana, and travel to the interior along Hayden Valley, the Madison and Firehole Rivers, and other locations in search of the best wildlife and landscapes the interior has to offer. Traveling this part of the park in these specialized vehicles is quite an adventure.
